The police and ambulance showed up quickly, 

The cops took the two criminals away. 

At the hospital, outside the emergency room. 

Haylee and Gia looked super worried. 

Gia was pacing up and down the corridor, mumbling to herself, “Ms. Logan’s gonna be okay, she’s gotta be okay,” 

Haylee had a serious look on her face, her lips pressed tight. She was leaning against the wall, eyes down, not saying a word, 

Soon, Deandre and Haleigh got the news and rushed over in a hurry. 

“How’s Marie?” Deandre asked Haylee anxiously. 

Haylee hung her head, looking guilty. Her voice was strained as she said, “Ms. Logan got shot in the chest. I don’t know if it hit the heart.” 

When Deandre heard this, his body wobbled and he almost fell. 

“How could this happen?” Deandre exclaimed, his eyes wide with pain, not believing it. 

“It’s all my fault,” Gia said, her eyes red and voice teary.“That bullet wasn’t supposed to hit Ms. Logan. It should’ve been me. She pushed me away to save me, and that’s why she got shot. I’m so sorry, it’s all on me.” 

“Mr. Logan, they’re not ordinary,” Haylee said seriously.“I fought both of them. They’re professional mercenaries. I even saw a tattoo on one of them. That’s the symbol of the mercenaries under the biggest gang in Italy.” 

Haylee showed Deandre the photos on her phone. 

She took the photos with her phone before the police came. 

The 

guy who got stabbed in the calf with a dagger and passed out from the drug had a black gun–shaped tattoo on the back of his neck. 

Deandre looked at the photo and muttered, “The biggest gang in Italy? That can’t be.” 

“It was Nikolas.” Before Deandre could finish, another cold voice came. 

Deandre looked over. 

Lennon had a serious face as he walked quickly towards them. 

“This is my fault,” Lennon frowned.“Nikolas didn’t die. The body in the base ruins was a decoy he set up a long time ago.”
