It was a fact that my dead child was an unhealed trauma, although Jane's birth helped me to cope with my depression to some extent. But still, it was a continuous aching laceration, hurting me in a new way every day.

I used to see the kids in the streets daily and wondered.

"My child would be of their age if he/she was alive!"

Then meeting Dr. Max for my revenge spree revealed that I had a son, but he was kidnapped right after the birth, sprinkling salt over my wounded soul.

Tonight, I was finally able to get the truth on the blessed day of Christmas. The irony was Zoe's presence before my eyes right after my arrival at Lakon City. But there was a blindfold of lies which had concealed his identity from, I couldn't recognize my son despite clear hints.

Jane was inside, unknown of all the developments. So, I wiped Zoe's face and tried to cheer him up.

My statement was cut short by Leo's thunderous growl, he was jerking Melody's slender body while snarling at her.

And using none other than Laura's child?

As Zoe was my son, I felt a hell of resentment towards Leo for ignoring him, he had scared my innocent baby's soul with his indifference. He didn't want a child from me, but Zoe's introduction as Melody's child couldn't melt his stone heart. He kept on hurting him with his cold behavior.

Rolling my eyes at their confrontation, I was about to turn and leave when Melody's shrill voice cemented my feet to the ground, she confessed shamelessly.

He was in the middle of complaining, but Melody's high-pitched scream didn't let him continue any further. She shot up and slapped his phone away.

She eyed her goons, and they stalked towards me dangerously. Her maddening laughter baffled me.
