He turned his chair to face Fiona, keeping his voice calm and reassuring. "Don't sweat it, Flora. There won't be any more drama. Those ridiculous rumors have been nipped in the bud."

Fiona leaned back casually against the desk, twirling a pen absentmindedly.

"Complications don't scare me. Besides... I'm not the one who should be worried."

Her eyes were sharp with contempt, dismissing those who tried to plot against her. Such petty moves didn't faze her; she refused to let them taint her thoughts.

Robert glanced around, catching the curious eyes lingering on her, feeling a surge of protectiveness.

Annoyed by the onlookers' curiosity, he shooed them away. "What are you gawking at? Get back to your books. Don't say I didn't warn you—know what's worth saying and what isn't. If I catch anyone spreading rubbish, you better believe I’ll deal with it!"

He even shook his fist for good measure, making the onlookers gulp nervously.
