It’s been two days since my last appointment with the doctor regarding for my… abortion option.

To be honest I’m scared, I don’t want to do this especially to my unborn child but if this child ever comes to life and out in the real world then I can tell you now that my baby will suffer and I don’t want my baby, the most precious person to me suffer in front of my eyes so I think it’s better that I don’t have to see my unborn child suffer.

I stare at the mirror one more time before letting out a deep breath. I can do this.

“Mare can you come out for a second?” I heard Ethan asked making me wonder why he wanted me now, when after I told him about my decision to abort my baby he hasn’t spoken to me and instead he just gave me a disappointed look.

I bet he’s just going to stop me from going to the hospital today to get rid of my unborn child.

Well he better try his best because it’s not gonna work.

“Look Ethan I’ve already made my deci—” I didn’t get to finish my sentence when the moment I came out of Ethan’s spare room the sight in front of me caught me off guard.

Why is he here?

“Travis…?” I looked at him and at Ethan who was now by the way looking away with a guilty expression.

“Why are you here?” I harshly asked while not forgetting to glare at Ethan.

“I didn’t want to resort to this but I think he’s the only one who can stop you from making the terrible decision you have ever made Mare,” Ethan said while patting Travis’s back before heading out.

“Where are you going?” I asked him but he has already left the apartment. We just stood there in awkward silence before he decided to clear his throat.

“Uh… long time no see?” he started off as he nervously scratches the back of his neck.

“Go home Travis” I firmly told him but being the stubborn person he was he just stood there but with more confidence on his eyes than the first time he tried to talk to me.

“No” he answered and I just glared at him.

“I heard about the news,” he said and I just looked away, “I know you won’t listen to me even if I want you to not do what you want to do but please… let me be part of it, it’s my child as well”

“No it isn’t” I lied but it seemed like he wasn’t buying it.

“Bullshit!” he cursed, “We both know that the only man you have ever slept with is me!”

“Don’t be so full of yourself!” I snapped at him, “Why do you think I’m not capable of sleeping with another man!” I was heaving with anger right now and I just want him to leave and to never appear in my life again because when he did my life never went the way I wanted it!
