The old man was telling Lindsey about his travels this time. Lindsey was an attentive audience and praised as she listened, which made the old man so happy that he could not stop talking.

The two of them were still talking when Zayn rushed down from upstairs. His hand was clutching his phone and he looked like he was woken up by a call.

"...Okay, calm her down first. I'll be right there."

Zayn walked while talking on the phone and looked up to see Lindsey and the old man sitting below with their happy faces. His footsteps faltered but quickly returned to normal.

He nodded slightly as a greeting and quickly disappeared out the door.

Lindsey’s eyes darkened, but she turned away and pretended not to care, not allowing her face to reveal the slightest emotion.

The old man watched from the side and could not stop shaking his head.

After all, he could only help them to an extent. These children would have to walk down this long path by themselves. Seeing their current situation, they were both unwilling to confess their hearts to each other, so how good could this get.

More importantly, the person who sacrificed herself to save Zayn was Jenny Lenig.

The old man had come across all kinds of people in his life and knew from the look in Jenny’s eyes that she was not a good person.

Zayn received the call from the person who was standing guard at the hospital, saying that Jenny was awake.

No matter what, Zayn could not just leave her be.

He had only slept for four hours and did not get to shave in the morning, so he looked a bit haggard.

The hospital entrance was already surrounded by reporters.

Seeing Zayn coming over, these reporters were like flies around dung and swarmed to him.

Zayn's men could not beat them up, so they could not stop them.

"Mr. Guggenheim, I heard that the person who took a knife for you was your first love. She’s also an employee of your company. May I ask if you and your first love are planning to get back together?" As soon as Zayn got out of the car, a microphone was stretched right in front of him.

The reporter holding the microphone saw Zayn's cold face and subconsciously took a small step back, feeling a little scared.

The bodyguard quickly stepped forward to block that person and opened a path for Zayn.

The reporters were originally a little afraid of Zayn's aura, but they later gathered that Zayn did not want to risk offending all the major media present. There were also a few reporters who would do anything to grab headlines, so their voices towered over each other.

"May I ask how is Ms. Lenig’s situation now?"

"Mr. Guggenheim, may I ask what your wife's opinion is on this matter?"

"Mr. Guggenheim, may I ask how you’ll settle with Ms. Lenig after such an incident?"

"There’s a rumor that you still have feelings for Ms. Lenigs and that your wife divorced you long ago. If that’s true, will we hear good news from the both of you when Ms. Lenig is discharged from the hospital?"

Zayn heard this and stopped abruptly. He then looked at the reporter who asked the question and said with his thin lips, "Whoever breaks this news can be ready to go bankrupt."

Perhaps the air around him was too chilly because the loud voices at the scene died down in an instant.

When these reporters came back to their senses, Zayn had already strode into the hospital building.

Jenny just woke up and the doctor was doing a checkup on her. When she saw Zayn there, her eyes immediately glistened, which brought out some brightness to her pale face.

"Zayn, you're here!"

Zayn looked at Jenny struggling to get up and stopped her. "The doctor said that you’re still very weak, so just sit properly and don't move."

She did not want to go to work for the time being, so she took the car and went to the orphanage she lived in when she was a child.

The weather was a bit gloomy and Lindsey was standing at the entrance of the orphanage just like last time. The security guard saw her and greeted her warmly. "Hey! It's you again."

Lindsey smiled and nodded her head.

The guard was a warm-hearted person and asked, "Are you going in this time? Or are you just going to stand here?"

Lindsey said with some embarrassment, "Umm...I’ll just stand here."

"Okay. I don't know what you people are thinking. Since you're here, you might as well come in and take a look! Why do you all like to stand at the gate like this?" The guard's puzzled voice rang in her ears.

Lindsey was stunned. Was there another person that did this?

When the guard saw Lindsey's perplexed face, he said, "A while ago, a man came. He looked..." The security guard scratched his head and did not know how to describe that person. After a while, he continued, "Anyway, I think that he’s pretty handsome with his suit and all. He doesn’t look like he talks much. He was standing in the exact same position as you and stared for a long time without going in. Then, he finally left."

After a while, the security guard added, "Oh, I remember! That man seems to be on TV all the time these days."

As the security guard said this, he looked at Lindsey and said, “Why do I feel like I’ve seen you on TV too?”

Lindsey froze and said, “You must be mistaken. I have a pretty common face.”

The security guard smiled nervously and said, "How is there such a pretty-looking common face? If that’s the case, there will be plenty of beautiful women everywhere!"

Lindsey laughed and her nostalgic thoughts faded. She stood there for a while and left.

After Lindsey just left, Zayn's face was plastered on the TV in the security room. Even when facing the camera, he still did not smile and looked cold and ruthless.

"Hey, isn’t this the man last time? He’s really good-looking, but that gloomy face is a little scary. Just based on looks, I feel that he and the lady earlier look like quite the match."
