Lindsey flipped through her phone and found that there were quite a few missed calls. They were from Allie Wilford, Mrs. Wendy, and even from Liam Wilford.

She looked through her phone as she walked out. When she opened the door, Lindsey found that her fingerprints had indeed been recorded on Zayn’s door.

Lindsey ran back to her house like she was fleeing from something even though there was clearly no one behind her. Her heart was beating extremely fast.

She told herself not to think about the deeper meaning behind Zayn's actions, but the thoughts in her head were out of her control.

Lindsey did not care to return any of the calls. If Zayn was there last night, then it meant that Allie was fine. She wanted to give Allie the cold shoulder so that she would not make the same mistake again. As for Liam Wilford, there was no need to bother.

Ten minutes later, Lindsey heard a knock on the door and the surveillance camera showed that it was the Guggenheim family's servant who frequently delivered her food.

Lindsey opened the door and thanked him first, then said, "Please tell Aunt Wendy that I’ll go to the mansion tomorrow to visit Grandpa."

"Yes, Madam."

Lindsey opened the large bag and took out the dishes inside one by one. After taking a glance, she found that the dishes were all protein and calcium-rich foods that aid in pregnancy.

She simply felt too embarrassed to face anyone!

Allie brought Lindsey to the club last minute, but at that time when they entered the private room together, Ian Emerson and even the others present were not the least bit surprised. Instead, they looked interested.

"Brother, why are you back so early today?" Allie welcomed Liam with a sweet smile. Liam came home late every day these days because he was busy with the expansion of Wilford's businesses. Surprisingly, he was back quite early today.

However, the man who walked up to her pushed her aside. Allie was caught off guard and fell to the ground.

"Idiot!" Liam's voice was incredibly gloomy.

Allie's eyes widened in disbelief. She was still sitting on the ground with tears in her eyes. She looked at her elder brother who had always loved her and questioned him aggrievedly, "Brother, what are you doing?"

Liam squatted down in front of her and fiercely threw the pile of paper he was carrying onto Allie's face.

Allie did not even think about crying and gathered the scattered papers into her hands. After reading the contents, her eyes widened abruptly and her fingers gradually clenched.

There were only a few lines of text on the papers with location details and timestamps. The real content was the photo above.

The main subjects were Allie herself and Ian Emerson.

The photos were getting more obscene the more she flipped through the stack. In the end, Allie did not even dare to finish reading them. She lifted her eyes and looked at Liam with panic.

"Brother, it's not..."

"Shut up!" Liam's face turned darker. "I will only love one person in my life, and that person is Sophie."

Allie did not believe him and felt mistreated. Her teary eyes blurred as she asked, "Then why are you treating Lindsey so well? What's so good about her that she deserves to be treated like this?"

Liam turned around and stroked Allie’s hair seemingly gently. "Don’t cry. Surely I have my reasons for doing things. When the opportunity arises, I’ll definitely tell you. Allie, in the future, don’t you ever say such words again and don’t ever ask such questions."

After saying that and seeing that Allie was speechless, Liam thought about it then added, "Do you think no one found out what you did last time? Next time, if you dare spread such rumors behind my back, I’ll punish you according to our house rules. Believe me, you don't want to try it."

Liam was referring to the rumor when he first came back saying that Lindsey was his fiancee.
