"Lindsey, have you really decided?" Yvette’s big round eyes looked worried.

Yvette called Shaun and pestered him because she wanted to see Lindsey. In the end, Shaun was so annoyed that he asked for Lindsey's opinion and allowed her to come over.

Lindsey was looked at like this and could not say anything. She was silent for a long time before she nodded her head gently. "Mmm."

They were sitting in the living room of the villa. The maid Shaun had hired was cooking in the kitchen. Shaun had gone to the hospital to help Lindsey get her test report, so the two of them were the only ones in this big space.

Lindsey did not know if Yvette was just slow or that she purposely wanted to bring this up. Even though Yvette could tell that Lindsey was not in a good mood, she kept mentioning this topic.

"But I think deep down, you do want to keep this child." Yvette’s tone was certain. "Although I don’t know the reason you don’t want it, you might regret it later if you really did the abortion."

Yvette’s eyes were like marbles. They were so clear that her emotions could be seen at a glance. Lindsey smiled bitterly. She did not have much time to regret, but she was still shaken by Yvette's frankness.

The girl made her a little overwhelmed, so Lindsey excused herself to go upstairs for a rest. Yvette pouted and was upset. "You must think I talk too much."

Although Lindsey did think so in her heart, hearing her say it so bluntly did not make Lindsey feel annoyed. Instead, she poked Yvette on the forehead. "Yeah. You can wait here for Shaun and talk to him when he gets back. I'll go up first."

Lindsey had just walked to the stairway when Shaun, whom she had just mentioned, walked in with the warmth of the sunshine outside.

Yvette was even more excited than Lindsey, but she kept her distance and restrained herself. "Are the results out? Let me take a look."

He had asked her this yesterday but was interrupted by Yvette's phone call. Lindsey did not answer him after that.

Yvette’s eyes fell on the piece of paper in her hand. She saw something and suddenly said, "It's a boy, Lindsey!"

She was dumbfounded. The joy that had just burst out of her heart in that split second overwhelmed her for a moment.

Just as Yvette said earlier, Lindsey actually did not want to hurt this child.

"Then stay, Linds. If Zayn doesn't want him, I’ll take care of the baby together with you." Shaun’s hand clenched into a fist at his side. When he said these words, he was a bit expectant and apprehensive, but from the corner of his eyes, he was looking at Yvette.

"Who is it?" Shaun saw Lindsey’s horrified look and instantly became alert. He went up to take over the phone.

Lindsey intuitively hid the phone behind her back and turned it off. She panicked and said, “It’s just spam.”

"Linds, Linds..." The woman in his arms was pale and unresponsive.

Behind him, Yvette froze for a moment, then went forward to help Shaun hold Lindsey. Her eyes widened as she said, "Why are you calling her still? Didn’t you see that she fainted? Hurry up and send her to the hospital!"

Only then did Shaun return to his senses, but the panic in his eyes did not subside. He put Lindsey in the car with Yvette’s help and rushed her to the hospital.

Lindsey still did not show signs of waking up until they got to the hospital. On the way there, Shaun had already informed the hospital in advance.
