‘Forget it, escaping is more important now.’

The two ladies were too weak, so they were very slow. They only managed to walk a few hundred meters in ten minutes. They even started panting.

The flashlight from Sophie’s phone had a limited range. Lindsey lowered her head and followed Sophie to find that their surroundings suddenly became clear and spacious. When she looked up, she realized they had walked out of the forest. She could also hear the sound of waves crashing on the shore.

Sophie gasped and covered her chest with her hand. In such cold weather, there was still a thin layer of sweat on her forehead. Sophie and Lindsey jerked their heads to the back. Sophie’s eyes were watery from being blinded by the light earlier. Her pupils suddenly widened. “Liam?!”

Liam's face was as cold as frost. He slowly walked past Lindsey and stopped in front of Sophie. Looking at Sophie's dumbfounded expression, Liam suddenly lifted her chin and bit down hard on her pale pink lips.

Shortly after, Liam gritted his teeth but still sounded gentle as he said, "Why don't you ever listen?"

Lindsey was restrained by the people behind Liam and she had no strength to resist at all. They were so close to escaping, but all hope was lost in an instant.

Sophie struggled, but she could not break away from Liam's grip. In the end, she was carried by Liam. They then went onto the yacht together with Lindsey, who was tied up.

The moment they got onto the yacht, a sudden ear-shattering explosion came from the villa behind them.

Lindsey paused in her footsteps and subconsciously looked to the back to see the raging fire that lit up half of the sky. The strange feeling in her heart suddenly became stronger.

The man behind Lindsey pushed her roughly when he saw that she stopped moving. "Hurry up!"

The yacht was well decorated. Lindsey went in and looked around. Besides them, there was no one else.

Sophie patted Liam's arm and said, "Liam, put me down!"

Liam lowered his head to look at her. He saw Sophie's pale face that looked disheveled and his gaze became dark.

He put Sophie down and got her to sit on the sofa. He then instructed the person he brought, "Get the medicine and bring in a hot towel."

"Where's Ginny?" Sophie's face turned cold. After the initial shock, she quickly understood the situation.

Liam felt that his heart was cut by the coldness on her face and looked away. He checked Sophie's body for other wounds and said, "I sent her back to Terence. Don't worry, I won't do anything to her."

They all knew each other since they were young, but Sophie and Ginny both lost their families midway. However, Ginny and Sophie remained good friends.

‘Zayn!’

Lindsey laughed meaningfully. "You speak as if you’ll let me go if I don't do or say anything."

All Liam wanted was to take out Lindsey’s heart and give it to Sophie. That way, his relationship with Sophie would not be affected by this woman.

Liam’s chest was heaving violently and his anger had reached its peak. "Of course, I won't let you go!
