"Don't shout!" The man pulled Lindsey’s assistant and said, "It's just a phone call, so don’t answer it!"

As he said that, the man ripped off Lindsey's purse, found her phone, and hung up without even looking at it. He then threw her purse and phone in the trash can outside of the elevator.

Quentin sent a message to Zayn to report on the situation at the seminar. The main focus was obvious. After he hit the send button, his phone suddenly vibrated. The caller was the man whom he just texted.

He almost lost grip of his phone. Quentin paused for a bit and found an unoccupied corner of the room to answer the call.

"President?"

Zayn's tone was not pleasant. "When did Lindsey leave?"

Quentin was taken aback by his tone and answered after a short pause, "Just now, about..." He glanced at his watch. "About fifteen minutes ago."

Just as he said that, Zayn's voice immediately came through, "She’s missing. Start looking for her first in the hotel. I'll be right there."

Zayn hung up the phone. Quentin froze for two seconds and immediately reacted to what just happened. He did not even have time to think about how Zayn knew that Lindsey was missing. Quentin perfunctorily waved off someone who approached him and quickly walked outside.

Only after he left the door did his face turn glum.

There were people in the parking lot and outside the hotel, but no one had seen Lindsey. Quentin loosened his tie with one hand and started to make a phone call with the other.

A few minutes later, Quentin stood with two people in the hotel’s security room, while the rest of his subordinates were scattered to all floors looking for Lindsey.

The hotel manager looked at Zayn Guggenheim's right-hand man and went forward to speak apprehensively, "Mr. Quentin, what’s going on? You can let me know what happened. Did Mr. Guggenheim lose something?"

Quentin turned to look at the manager and nodded meaningfully. “Yes. He lost something very important.”

Lindsey had left more than ten minutes ago, which was more than enough time to walk to the parking lot, but his subordinates at the parking lot did not see her. The surveillance cameras also showed that Lindsey did not leave the hotel.

Zayn did not speak again and hung up. He then looked at the hotel manager. "Give me a copy of the guests that booked rooms today from the 16th floor upwards."

The way Lindsey was walking earlier was clearly off. It had been half an hour since she went missing, so Zayn did not have time to wait for them to find clues.
