He Is King novel Chapter 6

The reason why I want to study so early is because I've always had a dream of learning at Cambridge University in the United Kingdom. I know it is far away from home. But something about that place makes me feel like I belong there.

The school day finally ended, and I was beyond thrilled. I found my mate before my boring old brother. I absolutely could not wait until I broke the news to father. I wonder if she would be accepting to the fact that my family and I are werewolves. I'll think about that later.

The driver and I both heard the sound of something colliding with the car window. I saw the driver set the car into a different gear and he asked me to buckle my seat belt and I did. He pressed on the gas, and something heavier hit the side of the car and I saw a big grey wolf pacing outside my window to our right.

"Constantine sent a wolf..." I whispered to myself and felt the need to get out of the car and rip its head off, but the driver locks the doors.

Bang!

Tension was rising in the air as my heart began to pump faster and faster when I noticed another wolf at the other side of the car. This was a slightly smaller wolf, but I knew who it was. That wolf was Miranda's sister, and I felt my heart race when I remember what happened that night.

"No need to worry, Sir. Parameters are secure and we should be able to get into the castle with no problem. Just keep yourself calm." The driver assures me, and I look at myself in the rear-view mirror and saw my eyes glowing green and I try to calm my wolf down. Deep breaths one two three.

The driver then put in a lot more gas and I saw the Castle gates fling open. A couple of guard wolves surged out and fought off the wolves that were sent by Constantine. We raced into the house and the car came to an abrupt stop. I rip the seatbelt off and transform into my wolf to go and help out with the fight, but I see my father shaking his head at me and I immediately transform back and rush into the castle instead. I bumped into my darling older brother.

I shove him away and ran up to my room. I could not stand being around him. He made my blood boil. I took in a few deep breaths before I opened the door to my room. Once I felt that I was calm enough. I opened the door and threw myself on the bed. After I felt like I was calmer I walked over to the shower and notice my eye colour begin to fade back to their original state.
