Sikander noticed Taimur was no more intimidated by him, something had changed in his son since the RRH crackdown.

Maybe it was that girl that had changed Taimur since she had left, Taimur didn't look afraid of anything, not even death.

Sikander had Eva under surveillance, his men followed her from her country to Africa. Sikander had found out she was a spy and had resigned after she went back from Azmaayir.

Sikander was shocked when his men told him that the girl was pregnant. One of his men had joined her archeological team under a disguise.

Sikander hadn't expected Taimur to be so stupid, how could he get a girl pregnant? It could have risked everything if anyone would have found out.

He had wanted to kill Eva and he would have done it if she would have contacted Taimur, but it seemed she wanted to hide the identity of her child's father from everyone.

Sikander never wanted the blood of the innocent on his hands, it was a great sin. And right now the girl was carrying the heir of his family. No matter how ruthless Sikander was he loved his family.

Sikander couldn't make up his mind to kill Eva, it was enough for him if she stayed away from Taimur. There was no harm if Taimur never found out he had a child with Eva.

When he received the photographs of Eva and Taimur's daughter, his heart had softened. The girl resembled so much with Taimur, green eyes and black curly hair. At one point he felt like telling Taimur he was blessed with a beautiful baby girl.

But there was no place for emotion in the game he was playing, the stakes were very high. And when Eva got married to that Spanish guy, Sikander was relieved. He didn't have to bother anymore about Eva and her daughter.

Thanks to Alia, Taimur had never contacted Eva again. He got so caught up in his marriage, business and kids that Taimur didn't get a chance to look back to his past. And he was still ignorant of the fact that he had a daughter.

" You know you are too smart for your own good, but believe me Taimur if you ever do something like this, I will make you regret the day you were born", Sikander had snapped, Taimur was testing his patience for the last couple years.

Waleed had wanted to abdicate in favor of Taimur, he was having heart problems and he wanted to spend some time with his wife and family which he was not able to do as he had to fulfill his duty as a King.

Waleed had been crowned when he was very young, it had been after a few months he got married. Waleed and his wife had never got any time for themselves. And now Waleed wanted to retire and spend his remaining time with his wife.

Waleed had asked Sikander and Tayyaba many times to ask Taimur to take the charge from him, but Taimur had been making excuses. And Sikander had got weary of his tantrums now.

"What can you do? You know, I am not afraid of dying", Taimur retorted.

" I know you are not afraid of dying, and I will never threaten to kill you, but I have something on you. I don't want to break your heart", Sikander said in fury, but he regretted it immediately.

It had just slipped from his mouth, it was his old age. He was not as patient as he used to be, Taimur was becoming a pain in the ass for him.

Taimur looked at him with astonishment in his eyes, and said, "What do you mean by you have something on me? And let me tell you something Abi, you can't break a broken heart"

"You think I am a fool, I won't find out you have my men infiltrated. I have known this for many years, and I warn you Taimur if you play any mind games with me anymore I will show you your place" Sikander snarled.

"And I am warning you again if you do such a thing you will lose something that you will regret all your life," Sikander said.

"We will see", Taimur replied.

They stared into each other's eyes for an eternity, both were not ready to back off. He understood Taimur was not as naive as he had thought him. Taimur was getting better at this game.

" One year, you have one year Taimur. Don't make me do something that I don't want to. Don't you dare Cross the line" He said as he tried to calm his senses down.

Taimur didn't say anything, he was just looking at him. Sikander was getting uncomfortable by his gaze. It was the first time Sikander felt uneasy with someone's gaze.

"WHAT FUCKING LINE AM I SUPPOSED TO HAVE CROSSED?! How many relations have you deceived, yes? How many daggers you have planted in their backs yeah, without even thinking you are turning their life into hell. And you fucking tell me not to cross a line?"

"Never assume the loud is strong and the silent is weak, the fiercest storm rise from the calmest seas",

"Abi, you have always underestimated me. But I promise you, you will regret the day you tried to fucking mess with me", Taimur was saying with such calm that made his hair stand at the back of his neck.

"I will find out whatever you have on me, and I will see to it you never threaten me again in this life," Taimur said as he rose from his chair and left.

And for the first time in his life, Sikander felt intimidated by his son.
