Nearly after 48 hrs when he was completely drained out by the mental stress and was fearing the worst, he saw her fingers move. Then her eyes twitched, as she tried to open them slowly.
He left his chair and leaned on her ringing the bell for the nurse. She shut her eyes immediately after she opened them due to the light in the room.
Taimur held her hand in his and caressed her cheek with his free hand and said " You gave me scare honey, welcome back my life".
Alia opened her eyes slowly trying to adjust to the light and then he saw her eyes focused on his face.
"You look dreadful", She whispered, which Taimur barely heard.
Taimur smiled at her words and kissed her forehead. The nurse entered along with the Doctor, then they started the usual fuss around her as he stood aside.
She stayed in the hospital for nearly two weeks. And it took nearly three months for her to get back to work. He had wanted her to take a break for a year but she insisted that she was fine.
And now she was telling him she couldn't be a mother again, hell he didn't care. She was the most important thing to him in this whole world.
" It's ok honey, you don't need to worry, the only thing that matters to me is you," He said as he caressed her cheek trying to soothe her pain.
"But you know, how much I wanted a daughter", Alia started crying again.
" We can always adopt one, what's the fuss", This was all he could say at that moment.
"If you want you can marry again, I give you my consent. I don't want you to deny the right of having your own daughter", She said burying her face in his chest and crying harder.
Taimur knew how tough it would have been for her to say those words, he knew how she loved him and it would kill her to share him with anyone.
" I love you baby, and you are the only woman I want", He whispered in her ear.
An image of Eva flashed in his mind drenched in rainwater and weeping with her face buried in his chest the same way as Alia right now.
"Now is not the time Taimur", He reprimanded himself.
" I love you too, and it might kill me to even think about sharing you, but Tim I want you to be happy and I want to give you everything you desire", She said raising her head and looking in his eyes.
He knew how much she was hurting from inside but all she was thinking was about him.
"Alia I love you, and even the thought of losing you drives me crazy. No woman in this world can make me happy other than you. And I don't want to be with anyone else but you".
" If Allah has written a daughter in my fate it would be just by you and no one else. Did I make myself clear", He said wiping away the tears on her cheeks.
"But Tim", Alia tried to say something but was cut short as Taimur kissed her.
When he had blown her mind with his kiss he parted and looked in her eyes and said mischievously " Now would you like me to do that to someone else?"
"Never", she replied, immediately.
He could never hurt Alia, and it would shatter her heart into a million pieces if he got himself another wife.
Riyadh was waiting in the private jet for him. He greeted him as soon as he entered and then after looking at his face Riyadh asked "What's the matter with you? You look as if someone drained all the blood out of you".
Taimur didn't reply to him and just sat on his seat wondering what Alia was doing? He was considering canceling his trip and going back to her but there were important matters he had to deal with in the US.
Riyadh gave instructions to the pilot and sat on the seat opposite to him. He was gazing at Taimur constantly which made him uncomfortable but he just ignored Riyadh.
"You want to talk about it," Riyadh asked after an hour.
"No", He replied.
"Tim, it would make you feel better", Riyadh insisted.
" I don't know where to start,'' he ran his fingers through his hairs in frustration.
"Maybe from the start", Riyadh replied.
Taimur kept looking at Riyadh for a long time, then he whispered in a voice Riyadh could barely hear.
" I never should have let Eva leave" He was shocked at his own words.
