Taimur
Taimur completed his shopping and headed back to the hotel, where he and Riyadh were staying.
As he entered the suite, Riyadh was sitting on the couch in the living room speaking to someone on the phone.
Riyadh gave him a broad smile when he saw him. Taimur smiled back at him and nearly fell on the sofa.
The driver brought in all the shopping bags after him and kept them in his bedroom.
He was still thinking about the girl he had met in the mall for an unknown reason she looked very familiar to him. He was sure he had never seen her before but the way he felt like, he had known her forever was completely unexplainable.
"Thinking about something?" Riyadh asked.
Taimur was so deeply engrossed in his thoughts that he hadn't noticed that Riyadh had disconnected the call and was looking at him.
"Nothing in particular, what is our schedule for tonight?" He asked Riyadh
"Just a formal dinner with the senator, and I think the Secretary of the State, will be present there", Riyadh replied.
" Ohh yeah, I just totally forgot that," He replied.
"It's ok Tim, it's just your age", Riyadh chuckled.
Taimur just gave him a cold stare, Riyadh would never let go of any change to get back to him.
The dinner went smoothly as he had expected, he was quite satisfied with the discussion between him and the Secretary of the State.
The Secretary of the State had asked him to visit Washington for a meeting with the President. Taimur was not sure if he would be able to make it because he just wanted to be with Alia.
She was going to join him within a week in New York and then he had planned to go to Hawaii for a vacation.
Islands and coastal regions were the favorite holiday destination of Alia, and they had never visited Hawaii before.
His mind was still occupied with Eva, it was not easy to get her out of his mind after seeing her again after so many years.
He had wanted to find out more about her, but it didn't seem right to him.
He was still anxious about what Sikander was planning against him, Haris was not able to have found anything significant till now.
Taimur was really doubting his abilities this time, Haris had been good at his job but when it came to Sikander he had failed him many times.
He knew he couldn't blame Haris for it, his father was sinister and it was nearly impossible to figure out what he really wanted.
Taimur had not been able to find out his real face until that girl had come along to his office and told him Sikander's role in what occurred between him and Sehar.
Yet he was desperate to find out what his father was hiding from him this time, Haris had told him he was turning every stone and pulling each string and he was sure he would find out very soon.
He couldn't do anything but just wait and let Haris do his work.
He was in the office of Al Jahan Corporation in New York when he received a call from Haris.
" Hey Tim, do you have time I think this call is gonna take a lot of time", Haris said on the other side as soon as he heard Taimur's voice.
"Yeah, it's ok. We can talk", Taimur said as he dismissed his secretary John from his office.
" I don't think you are gonna like this", Haris continued.
Taimur realized whatever it was that Haris had found out, it was going to be really big. The last time he said these words were when he had told him that Eva was a spy.
Taimur was wondering what it could be that Hairs was about to say that had made him so anxious.
"It's about Eva", Hairs finally said.
Taimur didn't understand what it was about Eva that Sikander knew and he didn't and that Haris was dreading telling him.
He already knew she was a spy and if Sikander had found out about that, it was not a big deal.
" Haris we already know she was a spy and my father won't be able to blackmail me with that", He said.
"I am afraid Taimur it's way bigger than that,'' Haris said.
" I know she is married and trust me it doesn't bother me. It's her life and her choice", He said trying to pretend that it was not a big deal for him.
Still from the inside, he was bleak that she had married someone else and had not given him a chance.
"Will you just listen to what I am saying?" Haris said, annoyed.
"Okay, go ahead get over with it", He said frustrated.
" She has a daughter with you," Haris said.
Taimur just fell on his chair trying to wrap his head around the information Hairs just gave him.
"She what?" He asked anxiously, praying what he heard was not right.
"You have a daughter, apparently she was pregnant when she left you or you left her. Whatever was there between you", Haris said.
