"I asked something", Taimur said as he took some long strides and was beside her within seconds.

" It's nothing", Alia knew if Taimur had listened to what Mateo said he might kill Mateo at that very moment.

"Then why was he yelling?" Taimur asked looking at Mateo with hatred.

Mateo's eyes were filled with an equal hatred for Taimur, she could understand how he might be feeling to have his wife's former lover in his house, who was the father of her child.

" I was telling her, it's because of you my daughter was kidnapped", Mateo said starting at Taimur.

Alia gripped Taimur's arm, she knew he could at any moment lose his temper "Taimur not know", She whispered.

" Let me talk to him Alia", Taimur said as he removed her hand from his arm.

This was what she was dreading, she looked at Eva pleading her to stop Mateo from saying anything further but she looked as helpless as Alia.

"And you were saying?" Taimur asked as he arched his eyebrow.

" My daughter's life is in danger because of you", Mateo said through clenched teeth.

"First of all, she is not your daughter and doesn't worry when we get her back you and your wife will never see her again. My lawyer will make sure you don't get any rights, it was your wife's mistake that she hid the fact from me. If I would have known about my daughter before, I would have made sure she was safe and she had the security cover fit for a princess

I would never have left her unattended in a shopping mall or a grocery store. Don't blame your carelessness on me", Taimur said calmly looking at Mateo when he mentioned the mall and then at Eva when he mentioned the grocery store.

" How dare you?" Mateo sprung at Taimur and grasped the collar of Taimur's shirt.

Taimur was quick enough, he punched Mateo on his nose, Mateo yelled in pain and punched Taimur back in his stomach.

Alia noticed the punch didn't hurt Taimur much, he used to train weekly with Haris and other military officers. Though Mateo looked strong he was no match for Taimur.

Taimur and Mateo were looking embarrassed after their unexpected duel. She rubbed Eva's back and whispered comforting words in her ear. She too was embarrassed because of the way Taimur acted.

"She will be fine, don't worry. Taimur won't leave any stone unturned until he found his daughter", Alia said as she pulled back from the hug.

" Alia we are leaving, I will call and inform McGill of the address of the apartment I have rented for the time being. I won't stay in a place where I or my wife are unwelcomed",

Taimur said as he left the kitchen.

"Taimur stop, you just said you both had to be together", Alia followed him puzzled.

" I don't care and I won't stay here if you want you can come with me or you might go to the hotel", He snapped at her.

She turned and looked at Eva who looked devastated by what Taimur just said. Alia didn't have any choice but to follow Taimur, she looked at Mateo for the last time, his head was bowed down and Eva was looking at him with resentment.
