"A werewolf? Your father knows what I am because he hunts us." He tilts his head to the side, watching me carefully as he pulls the t-shirt over his head, grimacing as his bones crack. The sound has goosebumps rising on my arms, shivers racing up and down my spine as I shudder. I wonder if it actually hurt him to change like that, I mean it can't exactly be a pleasant feeling.

"My dad hunts you? What the hell is that supposed to me?" Why do I feel like I'm still being kept in the dark about something? If he doesn't want me asking questions about whatever the hell just happened then why did he bring me out here? I swear, I will never understand the insane way men think. They're just too complicated.

"Your father is gone a lot, is he not? Does he tell you where he goes when he leaves, or just that he is going some where for his work? Arianna, your father is paid to extinguish my kind and so are those men that showed up last night. Only they have no morals, they will not hesitate to use you if they think it will bring me out of hiding." He steps forward, pain flashing through his eyes when I hastily step back, trying to keep as much distance as I can between us. It doesn't help that my hormones react to him, if he comes closer I won't want to ask him anything, I'll just be wondering how I can get away before I make a fool of myself.

My dad goes around hunting people? No, not people, he hunts werewolves? That's why he's gone all the time? Okay, well not all the time, but he's gone for a week tops every month, but he never tells me where he's going, just that he's gotta take a business trip for work. That is what my dad does for a job? How, why would he do that? Why wouldn't he just tell me that in the first place instead of letting me think he had some lame ass desk job or something incredibly boring?

"Arianna? Are you alright?" The fact that Xavier's moving closer and closer doesn't register in my head until his hand lands on my arm, literally jerking my from my thoughts.

"No, I am most certainly not alright. This-none of this should be possible. People aren't supposed to be able to turn into wolves and my dad... My dad does not hunt werewolves or whatever the hell you think you are." Its too weird, there's just no way any of this can be real. I'm dreaming that's all it is. Soon I'll wake up in my room, wondering where the hell that dream came from, that's all.
