CHAPTER 92
BEGINNING
HARRY'S POV
It has been two months since the On The Road Again: Backstage Access World Premiere in UK and in America. We were all glad that the people accepted the movie with such overwhelming positive feedbacks. It was amazing how we were getting really wonderful critics.
Lindy has been busy adjusting herself to college and how things are also going well for her. Our communication is stronger now than before despite the hectic schedule that we both have and the distance. I was pretty much doing a lot of promotions too especially for our upcoming tour in January 2016 which is called THE A.M TOUR shorter term for The After Math Tour.
I have been making trips back and forth from London to New Haven Connecticut to visit Lindy as much as I can because I want to spend more time with her. Gemma visits with me too since she wanted to get to know Lindy more and she has been very supportive of my relationship with her. I have been planning to introduce Lindy to our mum and I will do that once we get a freer time from her classes and my work when we go to Cheshire to visit my mom.
It has been a five weeks since I have seen Lindy and I have been very much excited to see her again. She's been letting her hair grow these past few days and I have been looking forward the entire time to be with her again. I can't wait to spend more time with her and just enjoy a few days off with her while I get busy again with my schedule.
Lindy has no idea that I am back in Connecticut and I havent really informed her about this since I wanted to surrprise her. She has been wanting to see me again and I told her I wouldn't be able to spend with her on her birthday because I will be deadly busy though I have already cleared my schedule for her.
Yes, I'm back in America for her.
I drove my way to Yale University to surprise her on her 18th birthday. She told me that she didn't have any plans and wanted to stay in her dorm the rest of the night. I would not want my own girlfriend to celebrate her 18th birthday alone in her dorm watching movies. Moreover, this is her first birthday that she will celebrate with me and it needs to be special. I need to make it more special and memorable.
I parked my car right around Yale University and saw some really good-looking guys around who could potentially take Lindy away from me. I dismissed the thought in my head to avoid unneccessary thoughts which could ruin our day. I put on my shades and looked around careful not to be seen, but the paps still managed to see me and the students who were around started snapping photos of me. They began to rush to my side and politely asked for some photos.
I grabbed my phone and called Lindy while I was being swarmed with girls who wants to take photos so I nicely smiled for them.
"Harry you're looking so good today." A fan tells me.
"Thank you so much. You're looking fine too." I replied.
"I love your top!"
"Thanks!"
"Is that Gucci?"
I laughed under my breath, "Yeah. It is."
"Hey baby." Lindy greeted over the phone while I was smiling for the camera from the fan.
"Thank you Harry!"
"You're welcome." I responded to the fan before I focused my attenion on Lindy. "Hey birthday girl."
I heard her giggle softly and it still gets me. "Did you receive the flowers?" I asked.
"The pink and yellow tulips are beautiful babe. Thank you." She responded.
I smiled. "I am glad it came on the perfect day."
"Harry! Let's take a picture please." One girl yelled from my side.
"Who was that?" Lindy asked.
"A fan who wants to take a photo. Just a second babe. This will be quick, I promise." I tell Lindy before I smiled for the camera. I signed some autographs and smiled for more cameras as I started walking around, looking for Lindy.
"I'm jealous how these women can spend time with you on my birthday." I hear Lindy.
I smile, "Awe, don't be sad baby. And, don't be jealous too. You know it would make you feel bad that I was not able to come to Connecticut to see you."
"It's fine, Harry. I know you're really busy." She sounded understanding but I know she's sad and I can't wait until I see her. "We can always celebrate late."
"I know baby, I'm sorry." I kept walking around the school ground which was enormous. "Where are you by the way?" I asked as I kept looking around for her.
"In school." She answers innocently. "I just got off my class. Why?"
"No." I disagreed as I kept looking for her and mistaking every brunette I see around here. A few women were waving at me and seemed a little flirting but I politely smiled as I kept searching for Lindy. "I mean like where are you exact--" I trailed as my lips forms into a smile.
"Never mind." I added.
"Babe, I don't know what you are talking about." She answers.
I watch her from a distance as she was talking to two of her new friends with the bouquet of tulips on her arm and that necklace I gave her which reflected from the sunlight. She was smiling and looked very happy and looked tremendously beautiful. The wind was blowing through her brown hair and her smile that I have terribly missed so damn much.
"Are you going somewhere today with your friends?" I ask as I tried to cross path with her.
"Actually, my friends wanted to me to go out and have fun but I don't think I will. I mean, you promised me we will watch a movie together tonight over Skype, remember?" She sounded happy and excited for it.
"Yeah, I remember." I answered as I was mezmerized by her staring at her from a distance.
She paused and frowned, "You forgot did you?"
I paused and realized that I was not catching up with what we were talking about since I was mezmerized by her beauty. "I'm sorry what were we talking about babe?"
"Our movie date? Tonight?"
I stare at her from afar at how adorable she looks when she frowns like that. She stares at her feet with sad eyes and looked insanely cute that I feel bad for even not listening. Of course, I didn't forget that I promised her we would watch a movie together via Skype.
"You forgot, didn't you?" She asks.
"No, I didn't. How could I forget?"
She smiles instantly." You swear to God you didn't?"
"I swear to God I didn't."
She smiles happily as she chases her two friends. "Good because I have decided what to watch tonight." She sounded excited and it makes me smile just staring at her and how I affect her so quickly. "And it's something that you have not seen before."
"It's all up on you birthday girl." I teased.
"I have bought a wine tonight." She tells me.
I begin to walk sneakily. "You're beautiful with that floral top baby."
She stared at herself then started looking around her, trying to look for me. Her eyes had so much anticipation building as soon as she realized that I was around. I smile as I continued to hide.
"How'd you know?" She asked.
"And I'm glad you've met new friends aside from Martha." I added.
She kept looking and moving her head around. "Harry." Her voice sounded stern. "Where are you?" She asks curiously while she looks from behind her then to her sides.
"Are you here?" She asked.
I smile as I finally stand a little bit far from her, "I'm just right across you."
She stopped and faced instantly at my direction. She was quite far from me but I could see her smile growing bigger as she stares at me. Lindy begins to rush towards me ending our call and I walked towards her to meet her halfway. She jumps onto my chest as soon as I got close to her and was all smiles when she saw me. It made me laugh how I see her so happy and I hugged my arms around her as I kiss her cheek.
We peeled ourselves away from each other and her eyes was glimmering. "You're here."
"Hi babe." I greeted.
"You're here. You're really here. I don't believe this." She cups my faes and she always does that every time she sees me again and I am really getting used to it..
She wrapped her arms around me again and we hug again as her friends finally approached us. I pulled myself away from her and gave her a peck on the cheek. "Happy birthday." I said softly.
"Thank you." She says. "You said you can't come today."
"I lied, I had to surprise you."
She smiles at me so beautifully. "You cheeky bastard."
I lean in to kiss her lips and it felt igniting.
She pulled herself away from my lips even if I wanted more of her kiss, "By the way, this is Lauren and this is Fiona. Girls, meet Harry. My boyfriend." Lindy introduced.
