Erik glanced at his phone and said, "I've got it. The address is out in the suburbs, just off Second Avenue in Emperor City. And guess what? There's a discreet DNA testing place nearby. You asked me to find a place to test Florence's hair, right? This one's secure. You can trust them."

Parisa's brow furrowed with anticipation. She was desperate to get some answers. If the test results showed she and Florence weren't related, then her real daughter had to be somewhere in Emperor City—maybe with the Sheldon family or at Skye Gem Ltd. She was itching to investigate both places.

She closed her eyes for a moment, deep in thought. "I have a feeling my daughter must look quite a bit like me. Otherwise, why would Florence have had cosmetic surgery? I need to get out there, make myself visible. Maybe someone will recognize me and realize who my daughter is."

Erik looked concerned. "Are you saying you want to step out of Inko Group and show your face? That's not safe. You haven't really won over the shareholders yet. They won't back you up. And who knows what Bryce is up to? He might have his eyes on the company right now. Remember, he's got the home advantage here in Harmonia Country."

"True, leaving isn't safe," Parisa admitted. "But I can't just hide here forever. I need to find my daughter. Besides, meeting with Ludwik sooner rather than later is crucial. I can't risk him coming to the company and tipping off Bryce. That would only escalate things."

She paused, contemplating the best place for a meeting. "And this DNA test... I need to handle it myself. No room for mistakes."

Calm and collected, Parisa knew Erik was right. Even though she could command Inko Group's shareholders at work, they weren't about to help with her personal affairs. Not until Phineas was back in action, at least. She didn't even have trustworthy security here. Otherwise, she would've confronted Florence already.

Her plan was simple: meet Ludwik. If he turned out to be trustworthy, she could propose an alliance. Ludwik likely knew all about Bryce's dealings. She wouldn't feel so isolated then. Plus, she was eager to visit the Sheldon family and Skye Gem Ltd., just to see for herself.

"Erik, scope out the area around the company for any suspicious characters. If you spot Bryce, call the cops to keep him occupied. Also, arrange for a discreet vehicle to get me out of here. And give me Ludwik's number. I think Skye Gem Ltd. is the perfect spot for our meeting."
