• Chapter 15 

Warren forcefully pushed Madilyn. 

Just as I opened the door, a couple rushed in with two men. 

“Madilyn, hand over that little jerk to me!” 

As the words fell, the leading woman saw Madilyn in a wedding dress and rushed forward, grabbing 

her hair. 

“I finally caught you! You caused so much harm to my son, you won’t get away with it!” 

She said, pulling Madilyn, and was about to walk outside. 

Madilyn’s face turned pale with fear, and she kept struggling, trying to break free from the 

woman’s restraints. 

“Let go of me, Warren, save me, quickly pull this lunatic away!” 

Warren finally came to his senses when he heard these words. 

He hurriedly rushed up and rescued Madilyn, protecting her behind himself. 

“Who are you? Leave my house immediately, or I will call the police!” 

The woman glanced at him and said coldly, “Jared is my son! I came here today to find her, it has 

nothing to do with you.” 

As soon as these words were spoken, Warren’s anger flared up. 

Although he no longer likes Madilyn now, he couldn’t just stand by and watch her get hurt. 

Not to mention that Jared kidnapped and harmed Carissa last time. 

Now his parents dare to come to his house openly and arrest people! 

However, before he could say anything, a single sentence from Madam Swanson completely froze him in place. 

“My son was about to get married, but this little bitch intervened and ruined everything, driving away my wonderful daughter–in–law! And after she spent all of my son’s savings, she ran away. It was because of her that my son was driven crazy and committed those wrongdoings!” 

No sooner had the words been spoken, Madilyn grabbed Warren’s sleeve, crying. 

“It’s not like that, don’t listen to her nonsense. It was clearly her son who was bothering me!” 

This time, Warren did not blindly defend her anymore, but looked at Madam Swanson with a complex expression.

“Do you have any evidence for what you said?” 

Madam Swanson directly threw a stack of photos onto Warren’s head, and the sharp edges immediately left trails of blood on his face. 

“Want evidence, huh? Take a good look at this, is this not the bitch behind you!” 

In the photos, Madilyn looked completely different from her pitiful appearance now. In every picture, she smiled charmingly and was intimately leaning on Jared’s embrace. There were even a few explicit ones mixed in, making it clear that Madilyn and Jared were not as simple as Madilyn claimed, that she was simply being entangled by Jared. 

Madam Swanson looked at Warren’s pale face and snorted coldly. 

“Did you see it clearly? Her parents had known about this matter long ago. They said since it was a debt she owed, she should repay it herself. So, are you now planning to repay the money for her?” 

It was not her parents who forced her to marry Jared, nor was it Jared shamelessly pursuing her. 

Until today, Warren only realized how absurdly wrong he was. 

Originally, Madilyn, who believed she was innocently wronged, was actually an active mistress who intruded into someone else’s relationship. 

And yet, he hurt the girl he loved the most and should have cherished, all for such a worthless 

person. 

What is the difference between him and the former Jared? 

No, there is still a difference. 

He loved Carissa from beginning to end, he was just deceived by her…
