Of the Donna Taylor stories I have ever read, perhaps the most impressive one is Love's Tangled Web (Alex and Ellie). The story is too good, leaving me with many doubts. Currently, the manga has been translated to Love Web 323. Let's read the author's Love's Tangled Web (Alex and Ellie) Donna Taylor story right here.

Chapter 323
Alex walked over to the windowsill and picked up the lunchbox. He stood by the window, lost in thought, not moving for quite a while.
About ten minutes later, Linda knocked on Ellie’s office door and came in. “Dr. Thompson, you left this lunchbox on the windowsill,” she said, placing the lunchbox in front of Ellie.
“Linda, please deliver this to Orion,” Ellie said, handing the lunchbox to Linda.
Linda held the lunchbox and arrived at Orion’s hospital room door, handing it to Alex. “Mr. Warren, Dr. Thompson said…” Linda’s voice trailed off as she noticed Alex’s face slowly darkening, too scared to continue.
His gaze fell on the lunchbox Linda had brought back, an unclear look crossing Alex’s eyes. “Take it inside,” he said, and with that, Alex turned and left.
A few days later, the superstar Sebastian held a concert in Jaslands. Ellie wore a waist–cinching knee–length dress paired with a light–colored cashmere coat, her semi–long hair loosely around her face, giving off a relaxed yet intellectual vibe.
Ellie stood there with her playful daughter, perfectly portraying the image of a virtuous wife and loving mother.
Diana had her long, styled hair tied up in a high ponytail, her outfit a mix of haute couture that added an air of aristocratic fierceness.
“Diana, has Aaron been busy lately?” Ellie couldn’t help but ask when she saw Diana.
Ever since Diana got out of the hospital, Ellie hadn’t seen Aaron anywhere. Diana leaned in close to Ellie’s ear and whispered, “I tricked Aaron into marrying me.”
Diana said, “I’ve made Aaron stay with me every day, and he’s too embarrassed to tell Mrs. Thompson,” she slyly added, “In a few days, I’ll talk to Mrs. Thompson and make Aaron officially move over.” Diana grinned mischievously.
Ellie stared at Diana. “Diana, give me a moment to wrap my head around this,” Ellie said, pulling Diana back to their seats while they waited for Lacey. Ellie patted her chest firmly, taking a while to calm down.
Ellie thought, ‘No wonder Aaron hadn’t been around lately; he is secretly living with Diana. He Makes big moves quietly!
Soon, Lacey came jogging over with a large bouquet in her arms, and in her other hand, she handed out several support light sticks to everyone.
Lacey, who usually wore casual hoodies, was dressed to the nines today. She wore a fitted off–the–shoulder cocktail dress with a coat draped over it. Her makeup was flawless. Her long hair was meticulously styled.
“Lacey, do you need to dress up like this?” It was the first time Diana had seen Lacey dressed this way. She was both amazed and a little surprised. Even when Lacey got her marriage certificate with Diana’s brother, she didn’t dress like this.
“It’s necessary. I’m giving flowers to Sebastian later,” Lacey said, her eyes sparkling with excitement, perhaps thinking about Ellic.
“Lacey, these flowers are so pretty. Can I have one?” Betty leaned in and pointed to the flowers in Lacey’s hand.
“Betty, if you want flowers, I will buy you some tomorrow, but I need this bouquet,” Lacey said, holding the flowers like they were a treasure, feeling thrilled.
“Ellie.” Diana suddenly nudged Ellie with her elbow.
Ellie followed Diana’s gaze and saw Alex and Carl being surrounded by a group of people as they walked over.
Alex dressed in a black casual suit made his tall and slender figure more noticeable. Alex’s impressive height and commanding presence made him stand out in the crowd.
Ellie drew Betty close to stop her from running off. Under everyone’s gaze, Alex walked past Ellie without even a glance her way.
“Alex!” Betty broke free from Ellie and chased after Alex, lovingly grabbing his hand.
Alex stopped, pinched Betty’s chubby check, and then moved on.
“What’s up with Alex?” Diana couldn’t help but glance at Ellie.
In everyone’s memories, whether it was before or after his amnesia, Alex seeing Ellie was like a bear spotting honey. He just couldn’t resist.
Elije shook her head and pulled Betty back to her side.

Chapter 323
“No big deal, probably had another brain freeze, Lacey quipped.
“Lacey, today is Mark’s birthday. Are you sure you want to do this?” Diana looked at Lacey, worried about Mark.
“Is it Mark’s birthday today?” Ellic asked after hearing the news, glancing at Lacey,
Lacey laughed without care, “No worries, I’ve already talked to Mark. He’s spending it with the family”
Lacey said, “I’ve been waiting for this opportunity for so long. Tonight, I must get an autograph and a picture with Sebastian,”
Ellie and Diana exchanged a glance, neither of them saying another word.
Sebastian was popular. The venue was full. Many celebrities came to support him. The fans‘ screams kept getting louder, starting from the beginning and never stopping.
Once upon a time, Ellie loved music and even took some vocal lessons, working as a part–time singer in a bar. But now, she was just there for the fun of it; it had been a long time since she last sang.
“Mom, I want to go to the bathroom,” Betty tugged at Ellie’s hand, and Ellie led Betty out.
“Mr. Warren, wait for me,” Ellie and Betty came out of the bathroom, unexpectedly running into a woman with a striking figure who was holding Alex’s arm in the hallway.
Ellic stood with Betty by the bathroom door while the woman clung to Alex’s arm a few steps away.
Ellie and Alex exchanged a look from afar, and Alex stopped mid–action pushing the woman away. Ellic discreetly shifted her gaze, holding Betty’s hand as they walked past them.
After only a few steps, Betty broke free from Ellie’s hand and dashed over to Alex. On tiptoe, she offered him a lollipop, “Alex, here’s a lollipop for you,” she said.
Alex looked down at Betty offering him a lollipop but did not take it. The woman beside Alex laughed and lightly pushed Betty away, “What a pretty girl. You should keep the lollipop for yourself.”
The woman in high heels linked her arm to Alex’s and walked away. “Mr. Warren, do you know that little girl?” she asked.
Feeling annoyed, Alex said, “No, I don’t.”
Ellie watched Alex’s figure as he left, pulling Betty closer. She thought, “That’s quite an act. I hope from now on, we’ll remain strangers!
“Mom, docs Alex not like me?” Betty stood before Ellie, looking sadly at Alex’s departing figure.
Ellie’s heart ached as she quickly knelt to comfort Betty. “It’s okay, Betty. I love you, and so do your brother, uncle, grandma, and auntie. They all love you very much.”
“But I want a dad,” Betty mumbled into Ellie’s shoulder, about to cry.
Ellie’s heart hurt once more. She could provide everything for her children except a father’s love. A bit lost and unsure how to console Betty, she just held her tightly.
At the end of the hallway, Alex pushed the woman beside him aside and halted, He glanced back down the corridor where Ellie was kneeling on one knee, holding Betty in her arms.
Betty was crying for some unknown reason. Ellie was trying to comfort her, but it was obvious she was a bit flustered.
