"What are you doing?" I demanded.

"I was just cleaning up miss," The janitor answered back weirdly.

"Is there something wrong with your voice?"

"I Have a bit of a cold," the janitor answered. Picking up the papers that have dropped on the floor, he left––well I assumed it was a he.

sat down and call the persons and schedule dates and times with them before taking a breather. Closing my eyes, I tried to relax when the phone went off.

"Emily, I want something at the deli, could you please purchase it, the regular." Hanging up the phone, I rolled my eyes before I took up the credit card that he gave me the first day I started working here. Exiting the room, I made my way down to the lobby then outside. Going to the deli, I ordered his usually before I paid and went back to the office. Giving him his sandwich, I sat down and close my eyes, but once again, I was interrupted by the office phone ringing.

"Emily, could you come here for a second?"

"Sure, I'm com–" hearing the dial tone in my ears, I got slightly angry. Taking a deep breath, I pushed it aside before I went to him. "Is there a problem?" annoyance evident in my voice.

"This sandwich is cold, and I don't like how it tastes. I need a new one, buy it."
