LUNA

"Congratulations, Miss Luna. Job well done. Your designs are one of the best." Mrs Palma said with a smile as she held my hand.

I mimicked her sweet smile before speaking. "Thank you, Mrs Palma. It's so nice to hear compliments from you."

She rolled her big blue eyes and laughed. "Oh, darling. Don't flatter me too much. And you looked good too. Pregnancy has a very good effect on you. I like that."

I just smiled back at her. I knew my stomach was big so I wore clothes that weren't too tight, so that I wouldn't look like an owl and so that my baby wouldn't be pinched.

I lost my attention to Mrs Palma and came to a tall model that appeared at my side. She looks very elegant in a royal blue halter dress. "Thank you, Miss Luna, for giving me a chance to ramp your one of a kind designs."

"I'm the one who should thank you, Miss Bennett. Because you accepted my invitation."

"It's because you're a great friend." She said. I was about to speak when she suddenly put his hand over his mouth. My forehead furrowed. "Oh, my. Who's that guy?"

"Who?" I followed the place she was looking.

My eyes found Dylan standing a few meters away from me. Some men talk to him and he answers without taking his eyes off me.

"That one. He's seriously looking at me. I think he's interested in me. What do you think, Miss?"

When our eyes met a corner of his lip rose and I stared at him in retaliation.

"I don't think so," I said. Pissed off.

"Huh?"

"He's my husband, Miss Bennett," I said in such a way that she would know my territory.

Her lips form an 'o' and smiled smoothly. "Oops. Sorry. My bad."

Ever since I found out that Dylan was just around here I couldn’t move properly. I feel like someone is always watching my movements.

I first apologized to the person I was talking to for going to the restroom. I don't feel better anymore. I felt strange dizziness before I even opened the bathroom door.

And if it weren't for that arm wrapped around my waist, my lip would probably have stuck to the floor.

"Let's get you home, Baby." I looked up to greet the owner of that beautiful voice.

"D." Oh, shit! Wrong choice of word!

"You're tired. I'll take you home." He said gently and then squeezed me into his wide chest.

I slowly pushed him away and frowned. Oh, no. Hormones.

"No. It's not over yet—"

He grabbed my hand and curled our palms before bringing it to his lips. "Luna, your vigil will be with the child. Please."

"I can still do this," I say emphatically.

"Please, Baby." No! Don't control me!

I violently withdrew my hand and sighed at what I had done. "I said, no! Don't you understand me! You've been there before! Do you think, I don't notice that you're slowly controlling me. Shit! Go to hell! Disappear! Now! Please!"

He bent down and suddenly his eyes widened. The colour also escaped his face. "L-Luna .. y-you're .."

"What ?!"

"Y-You're bleeding!"

My hair stood on end at what it said. My eyes dropped to my thigh and saw a little blood flowing there.

I groaned when I felt the excruciating pain in my stomach.

I immediately closed my thigh and put my hand between it. "H-Hah .. N-No .. N-No .. Dylan!"

He picked me up and I felt the trembling of his hand on my back. He ran and passed a large crowd that almost shocked the witness as well.

"Get the hell out of my way!" He shouted.

"Dylan .. save our baby .." Please. Please.

My tears never stopped flowing.

He looked at me. Scared. Tortured. "I will. Just... Just don't let go, okay? Please, Baby. Stay with me."

I nodded and closed my eyes when I felt the drawing pain in my womb. I no longer knew what was going on, I did not know how many minutes I had been crying, the only thing on my mind right now was to ask for help and pray to the Lord that He would save my son.

"Sir, you're only up to here." The nurse said as we were about to get to the emergency room.

I felt panic as Dylan's grip on my hand tightened. I clung to him.

"No. D-Don't let me go of my hand, Dylan. I'm scared. Please." I sobbed.

Our eyes met both blurred with tears.

"I won't let go, Baby." He said while kissing my hand. I cried out as the pain in my womb drew again. Dylan stopped causing us to break up. I no longer have the strength to speak because of weakness. "Please, save my family! I'm begging you to save them! Do everything!"
