||Mishal's POV||
I opened my mouth and confessed him about my past,
“I was married before you!”
I looked at him in fear when he shifted uncomfortably. I heard him sigh and he turned to face me. There was something in his eyes with a little happiness but, nonetheless, he smiled at me softly.
“I know!” He whispered and moved his other hand and creased my cheek.
I looked at him in shock and with an open mouth and wide eyes. I slowly closed my mouth and nodded my head slowly. I didn't speak for few minutes and tried to digest that he knew about it.
“How?” I asked him, slowly.
“I--,” He started but cut off when, out of sudden, his phone rang.
He quickly got and picked his phone from the nightstand. A frown formed on his forehead and he pressed his lips in a thin line while staring at the screen of his ringing phone.
He quickly got up and walked to the balcony door. As the balcony door slid open, the gush of cold air entered the room and hit me which made me shiver. He quickly closed the door behind him and answered the call.
I watched him through the glass door of the balcony and frowned when I noticed him getting tensed as he spoke to whoever was on the call. I sighed and looked away from his tense self to the clock.
It's almost 10 pm.
I wanted to know how he knew about me and if he knew everything about me then it clicked me who he was and what one of his men meant when I went to his warehouse. If he knew me then he must knew the–
I clenched my hands in fists as I remembered my past and everything that I went through. I didn't know when the eyes began to burn but I quickly controlled my emotions.
I shifted my eyes back on the balcony when I heard the door slid open. Zayaan stepped in the room and quickly closed the door behind him.
I observed his expressions carefully because there was barely any expression on his face. He vanished in the wardrobe and came out with a jacket in his hand.
“Are you going somewhere?” I asked him, quickly before he walked out of the room.
He quickly turned to face me and gave me his small smile. He strode towards me and bent down to kiss on my forehead.
“I will be back soon and don't wait for me. And when I come back, I find you sleep not awake,” He said the first line in concern, softly and second line sternly and gently.
I nodded my head with a smile and watched him walking out of the room. I sighed sadly because I had to sleep alone tonight again.
Our marriage was just based on verbally contract marriage where there was no love but now I doubt it because I felt myself getting attached to him without knowing and I didn't know about my feelings for him.
I looked beside me where Zayaan was laying before a call made him leave for somewhere. I turned the lamp off on the nightstand and stared at the empty and cold side beside me. My eyes got heavy and they closed on its own.

I tensed when I felt someone's hand on my stomach where my baby was inside me. The hand creased my bump a little roughly which made me open my eyes quickly.
The girl, Aabro, who came with Zayaan was sitting on the bed, beside me with a smile. I quickly sat up and pulled the duvet up to hide my bump from her.
I didn't know why but something inside me was telling me to hide my unborn baby from her. Her eyes didn't move from my bump which was still hiding from her. Her eyes moved up to me and I saw something shining in her eyes.
“I am Aabro,” She said with a big smile.
“Mishal,” I said and tried to smile back but failed.
We both sat in silence which was kind of awkward. I was feeling uncomfortable and uneasy under her stares. I moved my eyes to the wall and looked at the clock. Then I moved my eyes to the window and saw the sun was dawning.
“Where is Zayaan?” I asked practically to noone.
“He is with amma bi,” She answered which made me look at her.
I nodded my head and slowly stood up. I wanted to go far away from her because my 6th sense was yelling alert. I went to the washroom quickly to get ready.
When I came out of the washroom, Aabro was not in my room which made me sigh in relief.
“Are you OK?” I heard a concerned voice of Zayaan which made my hands shoot up to my chest and scream in fear.
I looked at the wardrobe where he was standing and looking at me with concern etched on his face. I nodded my head and exhaled slowly in relief and relaxed my fast beating heart.
“You woke up early today. You should sleep more,” He told me, softly and moved to me.
“I can't sleep...,” I trailed off and wanted to complete the sentence but didn't.
Because you were not beside me for the past two weeks and also because of Aabro, I couldn't sleep.
“I want you to take a rest. Then after breakfast in the afternoon, I will take you to the hospital for check up,” He said and intertwined our fingers slowly and gently.
“Today, everything is your favorite for breakfast,” He added and leaned down, which made me look at him with shyness in my eyes.
His lips were a few millimeters away from mine and he was about to place his lips on mine but quickly pulled away when the door of our room opened.
I quickly jumped back from him with pink cheeks and looked at the door to know who ruined our little but big moment.
“Sorry. I should have knocked on the door,” Aabro said with a sheepishly smile.
“It's OK,” Zayaan grumbled beside me.
I looked back at him who was looking annoyed at our intruder with slightly pink cheeks which didn't go unnoticed by me. As he felt my stares at him, he looked down at me and gave me a small soft smile which made my heart beat fast for him.
“Ahem ahem!”
Again our little moment was ruined by our intruder, Aabro, who cleared her throat which made us look away from each other sadly.
“Aren't you going to introduce us?” She asked, slyly.
I narrowed my eyes at her in confusion because we both had already introduced ourselves. But maybe what if she wanted a proper introduction. Zayaan moved to stand beside me a little more closely and held my hand more tightly but gently.
“Aabro, this is Mishal. My wife,” He told her.
He said my name and my wife softly with maybe love which I felt in his voice and it made my heart flutter.
“Mishal, this is Aabro. My cousin,” He told me.
“I can't wait to steal her from you,” She said to her and I didn't know why but I felt double meaning in it.
“But right now she must be hungry,” He said, sternly and pulled me out of the room without waiting for Aabro.
