||Mishal's POV||
I walked down the stairs to the living hall and saw Zayaan was sitting on the couch with his laptop on his lap and he was typing on it.
When he heard me coming down, he looked at me but I didn't look in his way. I felt his hot and burning gaze on my every move as I walked to the kitchen.
I was confused because he always left earlier before I woke up but today he was at home. I entered the kitchen and looked for Kamal but he wasn't anywhere near the kitchen.
I pulled my lips in a pout because I wanted to talk with someone and Kamal was the only person other than Rauza who I talked with and I also wanted to eat the dishes he cooked.
I opened the freezer and pulled the meat out of it. I went to the counter and started making lunch. I was standing near the stove when a wave of dizziness hit me. I quickly balanced myself before I fell.
I wiped the sweat that formed on my forehead and went back to continue cooking. I was cooking busily when, suddenly, out of nowhere I was pulled into a hard surface and my back hit it.
I gasped loudly when my dupatta was pulled from my neck and it got thrown on the floor. I looked at the floor with wide eyes and opened my mouth.
My dupatta was on fire. Water was thrown on the fire and the cloth turned black and into ashes.
I was still in the state of shock when I was shaken. I blinked several times then looked up at my saviour who was glaring down at me in anger.
"Do you really want to die?" He yelled at me.
"What if something happened to you? And what if I wasn't here to save you? Next time never try to take a single step in the kitchen! You are not allowed to come here. Ever again!" He said to me, coldly and strictly.
His chest heaved up and down and he was breathing heavily. For a second, I felt warm to know he cared for me but when I looked in his eyes, they were glaring at me with coldness and anger.
I stepped back from the closeness and looked away from him.
"Sorry!" I whispered feeling guilty, maybe for worrying him or for the incident.
"What are you sorry for? There is no mistake of yours!" He said and pulled me out of the kitchen.
"Go. Take a shower and get ready!" He said, pushing me towards the staircase.
I nodded my head and went to his room because my clothes were in his wardrobe. I took a shower and changed my clothes. I didn't know why but I did a little makeup for and smiled a little looking in the mirror. Doing makeup made me a little happy and distracted me.
I went down and saw him standing in the living hall like he was waiting. When I reached down, he looked at me from bottom to top and something flashed in his eyes but it quickly vanished with the same speed.
I slowly walked near him and stood in front of him as he still stared at me.
"You look... Beautiful!" He whispered.
"Thank you!"
I blushed a little and looked away. He cleared his throat and grabbed my hand. He pulled me with him and I quietly followed him out of the house.
His men were standing outside in the lawn. When they saw us, they quickly sat in the SUV and the driver opened the car door for us. I climbed inside and Zayaan also climbed inside.
Driver started the car and pulled out of the house. The other cars were behind us. I rolled the window down and let the cool breeze hit my face. A smile stretched on my lips after feeling the fresh air.
I closed my eyes with a smile and put my head against the window. I opened my eyes when I felt the car stopped moving. I sat up straight and saw the driver was about to open my door but stopped when Zayaan came to open it.
Zayaan opened the door and pulled me out of it. I looked ahead of us and saw a restaurant. Zayaan put his hand on my back and we both went inside the restaurant. The staff almost froze but quickly rushed to continue work again.
The manager came and greeted us and took us to the private side of the restaurant. He left us with the menu. Zayaan and I sat across each other. He looked through the menu while I stared down at it nervously.
"Aren't you hungry?" Zayaan asked me which made me look up at him.
"I am! But I don't know what to do and what to order," I whispered, looking down.
"What do you mean?" He asked me.
"I had never been in the restaurant before and don't know what to do," I whispered, quietly.
Two minutes later, a waiter came for our order. Zayaan made me give our order to the waiter after telling me what to do,
