"Eat." A deep husky voice commanded.

I couldn't understand why they were doing this to me, was it punishment for being late to do chores. Or was it because yesterday I was about to fall, and to them I showed weakness.

I slowly picked up one slice of cake with a trembling hand.

I leaned in and took a bite from the piece, the taste was delicious but I had no appetite to eat, I forced myself to chew while praying to the moon Goddess for everything to end soon.

I swallowed then shifted a bit and glanced at the door. If I was to run Christopher could waste no time in catching me. But again trying wasn't a hard thing to do.

"Move one inch and we swear we will hurt you." The twins said together scaring me.

I quickly moved my hand to my throat when my breathing got worse and I began to choke.

Christopher quickly stood up and rushed somewhere.

I rested my head on the table and tried to calm my breathing but it got worse.

Two hands on my back made me tense up, I feared to look up, but for some reason my breathing was slowly stabilizing.

"Here," Chris said when he put a glass of water next to me.

I looked at him feeling confused, a lot of questions were going through my mind.

Why the hell would a high-rank beta run all the way to the kitchen just to get a glass of water for a low rank, did he like me by any chance.

It was hard to believe but possible.

"Drink," Chris whispered.

I was about to tell him how grateful I was and refuse but I stopped when the hands rubbing my back stopped moving.

How on earth did they know exactly what I was thinking about. Was I that see-through to them?

I slowly lifted my head and took the glass of water. I frowned when I noticed how my hands were no longer trembling, a minute ago I was scared and wanted to run away, but now I felt calm and okay.

The fact that the two Alphas were next to me didn't even bother me.

"The Alphas!." I exclaimed silently in my head then quickly stood up.

How could I be so relaxed and forget that they were the ones rubbing my back.

"Easy, you will spill the water," Chris said with a smile.

I bite my lower lip and smiled back. He really was a kind man.

When he shifted his gaze to the alphas his smile faded.

"Oh I have remembered. I have a few things to take care of, you stay here please." He said respectively.

Was he seriously leaving me behind, he was definitely joking.

He was about to turn when I quickly rushed to him and held his hand. He looked at me with wide eyes.

My actions not only shocked him but myself as well, for some reason I was forgetting the rules of the pack and acting stupid. He was a high up who deserved respect from any rank which was lower than his. I did want to let go but I couldn't. I chose to go with him a thousand times than stay with the twin bastards that were scaring me.

"Please take me with you," I whispered under my breath as Chris quickly pulled his hand away. He looked terrified for some reason.
