David and Ashley were in the car now with Xander driving. David noticed Ashley was holding her tears back. She was looking through the car window because she might breakdown if she turns to any direction.

David didn't want her to hold back. He wants her to let it out. If she wants to cry, he will give her his shoulder to cry on.

"Kitten." he called for her attention.

" Mhmm. " Ashley hummed in return without altering anything nor moved away from the car window.

"Please look a me sweetheart. " David said without knowing where the heck that endearment came from. But he didn't care. At this point, he's willing do or say anything that will make Ashley feel better.

Ashley slowly turned to look at him and there it was.... all her eyes were red. It's seems she will breakdown at any moment from now.

David cupped her face with his two hands. "Let it out sweetheart, don't hold it back. Just allow the tears to flow on their own. And if you think it's because we are here, then just pretend we are not here and you are alone in your room. Just cry as much as you want, I won't compl---"

David couldn't finish his statement when Ashley threw her hands on his neck and started crying hard.

David carefully picked her up and placed her on his laps. He used one hand to rub her back and used the other hand to stroke her hair gentl motion soothing her..

Ashley continued to cry . She buried her face in David's chest and soaked his shirt with her tears. Not that it's bothered David though.

He allowed her to cry till she fell asleep in his embrace.

"Those fucking family. " Xander cussed angrily. He just wondered how can a father be so cruel to his child. No exceptional for all children but a daughter who is just a young girl. Throwing an eighteen years girl out with a pregnancy , didn't he had any sympathy for her? He was so angry that he wanted to punch Mr Miller, but he gave that punch to James.

"Let's go to Plaza hotel for now. She needs to rest. And please have the west Penthouse redecorated to her liking. I will ask her when she wakes up about some things and colors she might like. I want her to have everything in the Penthouse as she wish please. "

David instructed Xander. More like asking him a request.

"No pee dude , will definitely had it done tomorrow. But Dave....... never mind. Xander stopped what he wanted to say because David will not like the question.

"Tell me, what's on your mind?" David asked him.

"Uhm it's just that, what if your mom finds out you are are expecting an illegitimate child out there? What do you think she will do?" Xander asked. He wanted to be sure whether Ashley will be safe from David's mother.

"You don't have to worry about her. I will take care of that. Besides, when did I acknowledge her as my mom?" David was starting to get angry hearing about the woman who only gave to birth to him without never being there for him.

Xander nodded and continue driving.
