Ashley woke up the next day feeling so refreshing. It's felt like she had slept for eternity. She turned her body and saw David sleeping on the couch in the room still wearing a mask .

"He might be extremely ugly to wear mask even when he sleep." Ashley said to herself and gingerly walked towards him.

She crunched down and stare at him closely. She could only see his eyebrows and closed eye lashes up to his hair. The rest were all covered with mask.

She really wanted to see how ugly he looks. "He really has a long and beautiful eye lashes. Ashley said inwardly. A smile formed on her face whiles looking at him.

David choose at that very moment to open his eyes. Ashley flinched and fell on her back. A blush crept on her face out of embarrassment for being caught red handed.

"Kitten, staring is rude." David said and sat up.

Ashley's face turned even redder from what he said.

"I wasn't staring. I wanted to see how ugly you look." Ashley defended herself.

David chuckled at being called ugly. What happened to Mr Handsome? he asked in his heart.

"Yeah yeah my kitten wasn't staring. " David said amusingly and ruffled her hair.

"Oh my goodness stop. Don't ruffle my hair as if I'm a kid." Ashley protested.

David now burst into laughter. Gosh when was the last time he laughed like that. But ever since meeting Ashley, he always find himself smiling whenever he thinks about her.

And not to mention yesterday. He's so contents with having her around.

"Oh really, you are not a kid? but you look like a kid kitten. "he continued to teased her.

Ashley stood up and tug her hair behind her ears. She crossed her hands over her chest and said.

"First of all, can you stop calling me kitten. It's kind of annoying. " she said and rolled her eyes.

David was overjoyed seeing her like that. He likes it when she pretend to be strong.

"Oops my bad, but the last thing I can remember is that, you responded to me since yesterday when I called you Kitten, which you didn't reject it. So I'm surprised you woke up today to deny it." David also said and crossed his legs looking at the girl in front of him.

"Uhm , it's because there was.... Uhm... an emergency. So that will be accepted. But for now, I'm not your kitten. " Ashley refused to back down.

"Okay fine sweetheart, tell me, how old are you? " David asked though he's aware of her age already.

"I'm 18 and will be 19 very soon. So you see, I'm not a kid. By the way, you said your name is Dave. So tell me Mr Dave, how old are you too?" Ashley asked him pretending to be an old woman questioning a small boy.

David just smiled at her through his mask.
