To say the girls disturbed me for details when I entered the room would be an understatement because they we were literally on my neck threatening me to tell them the whole detail without leaving anything out.Anna in particular wanted to know how I learnt to kiss the way I did with Daniel....she has no shame...at all.

Ella was leaving today together with the rest of their school and it was certain we were going to miss them especially Ella and Matt since we barely spent time with the rest.

"I'm going to miss you." I told her as they lined up for the bus.

"You guys are going to make me cry." she said smiling but it didn't reach her eyes.

"I hope you guys know that we can see each other during the weekend?" Matt asked and on cue, the three of us gave him a sharp look which made him raise his hand in mock surrender.

"It's not the same thing as seeing each other every day." I complained.

This last week was really fun and Ella contributed to it,so it was natural that we took a liking to her.Even though the guys were acting tough, they were also going to miss her and Matt too though they'll never admit it.

"See you on the weekend and make sure you give Tessa hell on my behalf." she yelled as the driver called for them not minding the fact that other students were there.

"Trust me on that.I'll make sure I tell you all about it when I see you again." Anna yelled back while I waved.

"Did you quote someone?" I teased

"Shut up and go with the flow." she said.....yea,she totally quoted someone.

"So, what do you want to do today?" Anna asked as soon as the bus was out of sight.

"I am going to steal her for a while and you can do whatever couples do with Jason except making me an uncle." We heard Daniel say behind us.

"Hey." I greeted as I leaned into his embrace.

"Pumpkin." he said and I felt his soft breath which was kinda ticklish on my neck.

"If it isn't that you are my brother, I'll say you are trying to get rid of me." Anna said as Jason joined her.

"That's exactly what I'm doing." he said, not denying it.

"Let's go before they become all gross." Jason said, linking his hand with hers.

"I'm sure ours is nothing compared to yours." I said, smirking at a blushing Anna.

"Eww no, you're making me imagine my best friend's tongue down my sister's throat and that's disgusting." Daniel said, scrunching up his face at the thought.

"It's not as disgusting as you put it to be." Jason defended before Anna smacked him to keep quiet.

Before Daniel could reply, Anna dragged Jason who I was sure had a lot he wanted to say.

"Bye." Anna said and I could hear Jason muffled laughter at her embarrassment.

After they left,it was remaining just Daniel and I and I remembered we still had an unfinished conversation and I started freaking out..'what if everything was just a plan to get Tessa off his back'..ok,no more what ifs.

"Are you done?" Daniel asked and it was my turn to be confused.

"What?" I asked, confusion written all over my face.

"You were overthinking again."

Nodding absentmindedly I asked "you're not breaking up with me,are you?"

"See, definitely overthinking, we're not even dating yet." He pointed out and at that moment, I wanted the ground to swallow me as I was so embarrassed.

"Sorry?" I said and it sounded more of a

question than a statement.

"It's fine,I just find it funny that we haven't started dating and you are already thinking of breaking up." He said, chuckling lightly.

"So what do you want to talk about then?" I asked as I couldn't wait to get over the conversation.

"I don't know how to go about this, but I hope you understand.I should have asked you a long time ago but I felt we were too young and not that we are that old but at least I can't deny what I feel about for you....I get jealous when I see you get friendly with other guys who are not me,the thought of you with someone else is nerve wrenching.I might not be the perfect person for you,but I want to be there for you." He said and I didn't need a soothsayer to tell me that I was about as red as a tomato.

"Are you implying that I shouldn't talk to other guys because you get jealous?" I asked but that was the exact opposite of what I wanted to say.

"What I'm saying in essence is that I like you....I mean I really like you.i like how I feel when I'm with you...I really like you pumpkin." He finished and I was speechless....what do you say after everything he just said.

After staring at each other for what seemed like forever, he heaved a sigh but not in relief.

"I should probably say something." I thought as I looked at his tensed face.

"Please say something.. anything." He begged and I've never seen him this vulnerable.

"Huh." That was my very wise response

"Seriously pumpkin, I poured my heart out and all I got was 'huh' wow." He said but at least he was smiling now.

"I don't know what to say." I answered truthfully because I was scared...what if it was just one of my beautiful dreams that I would wake up from?

"Just how you feel basically"

"I like you too Daniel..I really like you too but it scares me." I confessed.

"You like me?" He asked in surprise.

"Wait, is this boy normal? wasn't he supposed to be happy? And they say girls are confusing."

"That's exactly what I just said." I confirmed

"Oh my gosh, you don't know how I feel right now." He said with one of his biggest smiles on his face....It was a sight to behold.

"Trust me,I know exactly how you feel." I murmured but he was too excited to hear me.

"Can I hug you?" He asked.
