I thought of Daniel all through the weekend how it would have been if we were together.Anna and I invited Ella to the room which she accepted and we talked for long before she had to meet Matt who I found out was also the headboy of his school.

Daniel did not come to our room and I think he was also avoiding me and I missed him,just that the pride in me wouldn't let me admit to anyone except myself of course.

DANIEL'S POV

"I lost her...I lost her to Matt of all people can you imagine"?I couldn't believe she'd date someone she just met and she knows we are not on good terms.

"We're not?" Jason asked, looking all confused.

"Yes, that's Matt... the headboy of Westwood rings a bell." I asked.

"Oh the boy that..." he started but I did not let him finish...I did not ask for the details and that's the only thing you got from all I said.Shaking my head in disbelief

"Dude I'm sure you're just overthinking things."

"Do you know something I don't?" I spat. "and he called her babe! babe, that's supposed to be me, not him." I finished

"I don't," He answered, not looking at me.

"What's going on?" Gideon asked as he joined us.

"He's talking about vee." Jason answered

"She's going out with Matt and she didn't even think about our kiss didn't it mean anything?I know I was stupid the first time doesn't mean I don't like her.Why would she even want to go on a date with him....." I was rambling but I didn't care. That's what she made me do.

"Calm down man you're starting to ramble.And they're not even together." Gideon said.

"He's not supposed to know that you're an idiot." Jason said smacking his head

"He's not?" Gideon asked, looking all confused that I nearly laughed at his facial expressions.

"No."They talked as though I was absent.

"What are you guys talking about?"

"Nothing." They answered in unison making it obvious that something was definitely up.

"Gideon..."

"We're leaving now,we have practice." Jason said.

"You don't, I'm the game's prefect,remember?

"Nope." He lied

"Nobody is leaving here if you don't tell me what you mean by 'they're not together." I told them as I walked towards the door to close it.

"This is all your fault, vee's going to kill you." Jason glared at Gideon.

"Start talking." I commanded.

"He's not her boyfriend, is there anything there that you don't understand'? Jason asked, glaring at me too... What's his problem?

"But they said..."

"They said,but they're not now, open the door. I'm supposed to be meeting Anna now." He all but yelled.

"Ok sorry." I said raising my hand in surrender.

"That went well." I thought.

"Whatever." He murmured.

"Don't tell her you told me anything." I warned them. "Especially you Gideon." I added

"What! I can keep secrets." He whined.

"Can you?" I asked,raising my brows as he literally just told me a secret they had.

"That was a total slip and you can't blame me."

"Just don't tell her." I begged

"Ok"

"Now that you are done,open the damn door."Jason yelled impatiently and I threw the keys to him before he ate me.

I was left to think of any reason why Vee would want to make me jealous and it worked so well and thinking about how I feel like punching him for touching her. He even had the guts to kiss her...ugh... I'm not thinking about that.I have to see her

VICTORIA'S POV

The competition was starting today and I was nervous as hell what if I fell flat on the field.

"You'll do just fine." Anna said, trying to encourage me.

"Thank you,but I think I need to use the restroom now'.

"I'll go with you." She offered.

"No,you have to see your team leader." I reminded her as I remembered she told me yesterday about it.

"Shoot ....bye see you later.Make sure you kick ass on the field." she said running back.

"Yea that is if I don't have my ass kicked." I murmured silently to myself...I shouldn't have signed in.

When I was done with the restroom,I came out only to be met with Daniel resting on the wall outside the restroom.

"What are you doing here?" I asked, looking around to see if people were around.

"I need to talk to you."He said, ignoring my question.

"I have to meet Matt." I lied.

"No you don't."

"He's my boyfriend." I lied again.

"Nope, he's not'.He deadpanned

"Yea he figured that out." I thought as he looked at me.

"Okay, he's not but can I go now?" I asked

"Is there a reason why you ignored me for three days?" He asked, doesn't he ever hear my questions.

"Are we really having this conversation in front of the female restroom?"

"Well that's the only place you can't run away.We still have an hour before the competition starts so we can have the talk here or we find somewhere to sit." He was giving me options on which way we could talk.

"Okay, let's find somewhere to sit." I said giving in and there was a small smile on his face which I've really missed.

"Good."

We were now sitting on a bench as most of the students were getting ready for the game.

"Ok... I'm listening."

"I don't have anything to say."

"You can't avoid someone for days and not have a reason,so I'm asking for your reason and I know when you are lying which I don't like."

"You want the truth right?" I asked and he nodded repeatedly......"you can't kiss me and then go around asking other people out,I'm not a playtoy and I have feelings too you know." I said letting all out.

"Asking other people out? Who did I ask out?" He was looking confused but I wasn't falling for that look.

"Who else?your girlfriend of course."

"My girlfriend?...I don't have one,who told you that I do?" He asked.

"He's even lying now just to tell the truth and we'd all be fine." I thought before. murmuring an answer....."Tessa"

"You spoke to Tessa?and she told you I have a girlfriend?"

"You didn't exactly deny kissing her."

"Did she tell you that too?"

"I saw it okay,you kissed her two times... two freaking times and the second time just a day after you kissed me.What do you take me for?" I asked but he just stared at me without answering.

"I thought as much,she was right after all." I said as I left the tears I was trying to fight,fall freely.

"What the hell did she tell you?"
