At the sight of that absurd view, Dad and Travis surprisingly didn’t show a hint of resentment towards Nicole.

Nicole couldn’t even hide the joy on her face when she saw me lying in the hospital bed.

Travis frowned.

Travis coldly scolded me, “Grace, just because you’re a

patient, that doesn’t mean you can treat people however you want! Nicole helped you out this time, so you shouldn’t doubt

her!”

Their righteous expressions made it seem like the video wasn’t something they had fabricated.

I couldn’t help but sneer in anger, but even the smallest movement of my lips made me feel pain.

Travis kicked my hospital bed with such force that I was sent rolling off.

While ignoring me completely, Travis turned to help Nicole up, pulling her into his arms.

Travis looked at me coldly and said, “Grace, if you dare even touch a hair on Nicole, I’ll disown you as my sister.”

Despite the decision I’d already made to sever ties with them, I couldn’t help but feel an icy emptiness in my heart.

I watched as they walked away, embracing Nicole.
