Alice pursed her lips.
"You can still leave through the back door." Patrick said.
"You're not leaving?"
Alice asked, she walked back to the window and withdrew the curtain, her eyebrows were knitted, those people were really searching house by house.
"My best bet is to stay here and wait for them to come."
Patrick said as he sat there, the blood slowly dripped from his hands.
Alice looked at Patrick, "Mary wants you to live."
"Is there any difference between alive or dead?" Patrick asked, bitterly smiled.
Alice stood there silently. The medicine kit was placed somewhere by Mary, she loved Patrick so much that she couldn't bear to see him get hurt. It must be somewhere within her reach.
Alice walked into Mary's room, and very quickly, she saw medicine kit in Mary's closet.
She took it out and placed it in front of Patrick, and said, "Let me clean your wound."
After she said this, a loud sound of someone knocking on the door came out.
"Bang, bang, bang!"
Alice was shocked, and turned to look at the door.
"Hurry up and leave." Patrick's face became serious.
"Let's go together." Alice said.
"You can't run away with a blind person." Patrick fiercely pushed her away, "Quickly go, don't forget, I am the one who killed your parents, you shouldn't use your good intentions on me."
The sound of the door being knocked grew louder and louder.
Alice was about to drag him, but when she heard his words, her hands stiffened and slowly retracted, "You're right, I shouldn't care about your life anymore."
"Hurry up and leave."
Patrick said.
"Since you want to die so much, there's no point in Mary sacrificing her life." Alice's voice turned cold.
Hearing the word Mary, Patrick's breathing became unstable.
Alice thought that it was only now that he realized that Mary was extremely important to him.
She turned and walked away, heading for the back door.
After walking a few steps, she heard a weak sound coming from behind her.
Alice supported Patrick out of the back door.
"No one is here. Let's go."
Alice looked outside and supported Patrick to leave. Since he could not see, she randomly chose a path and walked forward.
Patrick placed his hands in his pockets, preventing the blood from flowing onto the ground.
The residential area at the back was very dense, with many paths. Patrick followed Alice in the darkness, he slowed down his pace.
"What's wrong?"
Alice looked at him, puzzled.
"We won't be able to leave." Patrick said in a low voice, his brows were knitted, "I'm sorry, Alice, I was the one who implicated you in this." Alice still did not understand what Patrick had said, then she saw several people holding guns walked out from a small house, all of them pointed their guns at them.
Right in the ambush.
Alice's expression darkened, she heard one of them say excitedly, "That mister is right, Patrick's nest is indeed on the other side of the river, it's convenient for him to observe, he's really smart."
Alice supported Patrick as she stood there, completely surrounded by their guns.
"You really shouldn't have saved me." Patrick said with a tone full of guilt.
Alice was not worried about herself, she believed that no one dared to touch her because of the word "William", but it was hard to say for Patrick.
She didn't want to see Mary and Patrick die one after another.
"Patrick, you also have such a day. You are so good, you have different woman by your side one after another!" Someone said, and a few people laughed.
"Why does this woman look so familiar? I think I saw a similar face in the cafe yesterday."
"Forget it, let's settle this together. Come, let's compete our shotting skills, and take Patrick's head back to earn money."
They laughed out loud again, treating them like prey that couldn't escape. They each raised the guns in their hands and pointed at them.
Patrick subconsciously pulled Alice behind him. "Don't touch her, she's William's woman."
After he said this, a cold voice sounded.
"You're still sensible enough to know whose woman she is."
The tone was mocking.
William?
Patrick stood there, he could not see anything, but from the laughter of the crowd, he knew what was happening.
He lowered his head.
A group of people rushed towards William.
Alice stood in front of William, raised a hand and pressed it against his neck, kissing him crazily. She opened her mouth, her warm tongue brushed on his thin lip, making William's body tense up immediately.
In the next second, Alice was pushed onto the car fiercely by William. He turned the tables and lowered his head to kiss her lips, forcing her to kiss him.
William kissed with force, his ice-cold lips set off all of his fanaticism.
Alice leaned on the car door and kissed him. William's kiss suddenly changed, as if he was punishing her.
"Hm."
Alice was bitten and in pain. She frowned.
Before she could even feel the pain, William's kiss became even more gentle.
Alice's eyes blurred from the kiss as both of her hands rested on his shoulders. She did not know how to react as she felt as if the entire world was spinning around.
She bit him hard, imitating him, and kissed him back tenderly.
William pulled himself away with both hands pressing on the car door.
Alice stood up on her tiptoes, hugged his neck and kissed his face again, then whispered into his ear, "I really miss you, William. I had always thought that if my phone was not dead, I would have immediately told you, I love you, I only love you."
William stared at her in a daze, he did not say a word, the coldness on his face was like an iceberg cracking, revealing a dumbfounded look.
She loved him?
"I finally said it."
Finally being able to think things through and said what she wanted to say, Alice heaved a sigh of relief. She looked at him and asked, "Why did you come? Is it for me? "
"I met with danger here, but because of your powerful aura, I'm fine." Alice replied quickly.
William lowered his eyes and stared at her lips, only to see her lips move, making him completely unable to listen to her words.
"Now, let's settle this first, okay?" Alice gazed at him and said.
"Oh."
William replied from his throat.
"Can you tell this group of gunmen to leave first?"
