- Leaving the Wave Island

Not far away, the bedroom door was pushed open from the inside. Catherine walked out and leaned against the door as she looked at them, "Auntie, Uncle, Daddy invited you in."

The conversation ended so quickly?

Didn't Lang want to stay with his daughter a little longer?

Alice did not let William stand up but instead walked towards Catherine. Lang 's face was even paler than before, and his voice was becoming weaker and weaker, "Wife, I told Catherine to follow you guys out, and I'll look for you guys after I've settled the matters at home."

It was very difficult for Lang to say such a long sentence.

Alice lowered her eyes to look at Catherine, and she understood that these words were said for the child to hear. This meant that Lang had decided to not let his daughter accompany him to the last second.

"Mr. Lang, actually, we are not in a hurry

to leave."

Alice could not help but ask.

"Take Catherine away;all these years I have been a bastard. There are some things that I do not want her to experience again." Lang said.

Alice understood what he meant. He didn't want his daughter to see him die in front of her again; he was completely awake now, and understood how outrageous her actions were these past few years.

Alas, God no longer forgave him.

"You've decided?"

Alice asked.

"Decided." Lang said, "Thank you, really, thank you."

Alice lowered her gaze and looked at Catherine, and said, "Then Catherine and Father will say goodbye."

Catherine stood beside her and blinked her eyes, then shook her hand towards Lang. "Goodbye daddy."

"Goodbye."

Lang looked at his daughter gloomily, his voice dry and strained.

There was no goodbye.

Only farewell remained.

Alice pulled Catherine and turned around. Lang's voice suddenly sounded again, "Catherine."

Catherine turned around, and Lang looked at her, his eyes gleaming. "Daddy is not a good daddy; daddy is sorry."

Catherine blinked her eyes foolishly, but didn't say anything.

When Alice heard this, she felt especially stifled, but she could only allow that suffocating feeling to drift around. She was helpless as she pulled Catherine's little hand and left the bedroom.

The Lang's family had already left.

The rest of the Cullen family were searching for bombs. This workload would take some time, so they directly left.

When he passed by a room, Alice peeked through the crack of the door and saw a few men tied up together sitting on the floor. Butler and a few bodyguards were standing there and watching over them.

These were the murderers . One of them was actually the Lang's family servant that she had seen before, the one that Catherine had forced to play the dog.

All these years, they had always listened to Lanchester family's instructions and wandered around Lang's side.

Butler passed a vibrator to the bodyguard beside him, "Second Young Master ordered, give the vibrator to Lang.

"Yes, Mr.Butler."

The bodyguard nodded.

These murderers instantly understood something when they heard his words. They either twisted their bodies in excitement or shut their eyes in despair.

"Let's go."

Alice pulled Catherine's hand and walked out. Holy looked at her with the doll in one hand and the lollipop in the other. Then, he immediately ran over.

"Let's go."

Alice said to him.

"Alright." Holy nodded and stared at her nervously, afraid that she would fall down from exhaustion and use too much strength to grab the doll.

William and Alice were both injured, so in order to travel more smoothly, Daniel had prepared a cruise.

The Pier's cherry blossoms were still blooming very well, just like when they had just arrived. Pink colored petals floated to the ground, forming a pale pink road, extremely romantic.

The bodyguards stood in two rows; Alice walked forward while being hugged by William, and Holy followed beside them, nervously watching him.

Daniel and Charles walked behind them with their luggage.

"Let's go."

William stepped onto the deck of the cruise ship with Alice in his arms. Alice was worried about his injuries, so she requested for him to rest after getting on the cruise ship.

William was unwilling, but after Alice made her request over and over again, she finally gave in when she glared at him.

Alice opened the door to the room and supported William in. William laid on the bed immediately.

Seeing him like that, Alice faintly felt that it was not good. He reached out to help him pull off his clothes, and sure enough, the red color on the gauze became more and more obvious.

"William!"

Alice glared at him angrily.

William laid there and looked at her, then silently turned his back and pulled up his clothes.

"William! What do you mean, turn your back? I saw it all! The gauze is covered in blood!"

He still turned around?

William sat up straight, his black eyes staring straight at her. The thin lip took a deep breath, then said, "Alright, I won't hurt myself!"

With her, he was always able to compromise very quickly.

"Really?"

Alice was in disbelief.

"Nonsense! When have I, William, ever lied to you!"

"You talk as if you've never lied to me."

William was speechless, he reached out and pressed on the wound on his chest, then turned his eyes, looking around the room, he walked to the desk, picked up a pen and paper and wrote a few lines, indicating that he would never be allowed to be injured again.

When he finished writing, Alice brought the pen and paper in front of William and said with a straight face, "The people from Cullen family will not sign their names! Sign it!"

Daniel had told her this back then, and she firmly remembered it.

William took the paper and looked at her delicate handwriting. He repeatedly wrote that no one was allowed to get hurt.

William could not help but frown, "Why are you writing this like a curse!"

"Then do you want to sign it?" Alice stared at him, wishing that he could open a few holes on his body.

Seeing that she was so full of energy, William sat up on the bed. Holding a brush with his slender hands, he quickly wrote his name on the bed, then looked at her and spoke softly, "You didn't need to hide the 200 pages of additional terms right?"

With just a simple sentence, Alice remembered the contract he had signed with her. At that time, he had hidden more than two hundred pages of terms in the middle of the contract, thick enough to smash her to death.

Thinking back to that time, Alice could not hold back her laughter; the anger instantly dissipated, "You're so annoying; that's something only you can do; I would not do that."

She reprimanded him as she took the pen and paper and looked at the signature on it with great satisfaction.

Finally laughing?

Following her laughter, the corner of William's mouth hooked up as he looked at her lovingly. "To you, what wouldn't I be able to do?"

It was clearly such a shameless sentence, but Alice felt that it was inexplicably sweet. After being with a paranoia for so long, there was no saving her.

She carefully kept the paper and the door was pushed open from the outside. William was just about to reprimand her unhappily, when he suddenly walked in from the outside and looked at them, bowing his head very politely.

"Aren't you playing with Catherine? Why are you here?"

Alice asked with a smile.

"I saw the doctor come in." Holy said as he stood at the door. Obviously, he was worried about them.

Hearing this, Alice's heart felt warm;if one could say what happiness she had from this trip to the Wave Island, it would be because the knot in her heart had been resolved, and she was clearly more intimate towards her than before.

She liked it.

"Dad's wound has been opened. The doctor came in and redressed it. It's nothing serious, so don't worry." Alice said.
