- Bomb Detonation
"Yes." Holy nodded, looked at the two of them and said, "Then I'll be leaving first."
"Alright." Alice smiled as she nodded, thinking of something else, "Oh yeah, Catherine must have felt a lot uncomfortable while leaving here to follow us back home; help mother take good care of her."
"I don't know where she went." Holy said while standing there. He had been staring at Alice the entire way, afraid that she would feel uncomfortable. He did not look at Catherine.
Hearing that, Alice looked at him in surprise, "Weren't you with Catherine all this time?"
She remembered that before she went on the cruise, and Catherine was still holding Holy's hand. She had followed the two kids since she could only see their injuries.
"Nope."
Holy shook his head.
Alice tensed up. She stood up and was about to find someone, but her hand was held by William, who looked at her unhappily from where he was lying, "What are you looking for? With so many people here, how can you be afraid of losing a child?"
"I think it's better if I look for him. I'm a bit worried."
Alice released his hand and said, raising her leg to quickly leave. II II
William laid on his bed and looked at Alice's back. If he wanted to sit up, his wounds would hurt so much that he would be unable to move. Damn it, this child had one more person;what position would he have in the future?
Alice, it's really you!
The cruise ship had already left the pier of the Wave Island. On the endless blue ocean, the seabirds were flying recklessly, looking down at the peaceful Wave Island. They looked like a giant piece of flower field, all of their colors mixed together.
The Lang's family members who were sitting not far from the Flower Sea channel had almost left, and the building was almost empty as well. Cullen family's people were still checking out the bombs on the Island, and after the local people heard about it, they all used their own methods to escape from the Island.
The Wave Island was like a dead city.
Lang laid on the bed in the room and let the bodyguard go away. His face was as white as paper.
Then he sat up in bed and, with the last of his strength, got up and walked to the door.
He had spent a long time doing this, and was about to fall down the moment when he stood up. Lang grabbed the vibrator on the bedside table, and his eyes shone with a final ray of light.
He couldn't fall, not yet.
Lang took the vibrator and walked to the door with difficulty step by step. He then picked up the photo album on the chest of drawers.
It was clearly a very light album, but at this moment, it was too heavy for him to carry.
Lang walked like this for a while and then rested for a while. Finally, he went downstairs. He panted as he leaned against the wall by the door. He breathed weakly. The smell of blood spread in his mouth. It actually made him feel refreshed.
After Lang rested, he struggled to lift his hand and push the door open. Inside, there were a few men tied up.
These were the people who had insulted his wife and murdered her.
Upon seeing Lang entering, the few men started to struggle in excitement. They had initially received Lanchester's orders to detonate the bomb on themselves, as long as they could drag William to be buried with them, and their families would receive a heavy pension.
But now, William had left.
There was no point in them dying.
Thinking up to here, a person cried out, "Mr. Lang, I was just muddle-headed for a moment. I beg you:please let me go. I promise to be a good person in the future!"
Lang leaned against the wall and walked step by step inside. He was so weak that he threw the photo album in his hands in front of them. Then, he fell down and spat out a mouthful of blood.
"Mr. Lang, I beg you;please let us go; I beg you."
Lang sat in front of them, bomb vibrator in one hand, wiping the blood from his mouth with the other. He then opened the photo album.
Amidst their mournful pleas for mercy,
Lang slowly opened his mouth and said, "My wife really likes flowers. The first time that I saw her; she was standing in the sea of flowers, beautiful and delicate. I went up to strike up a conversation, and she blushed."
The men looked at him, wondering what he was talking about at a time like this.
"After that, we fell in love. I said that I would accompany her to the end of time in this world. My wife said that she would grow flowers at her home in the future. She wanted to accompany me in watching flowers bloom." Lang spoke with difficulty. "She said she was happiest to see flowers bloom."
There was blood in his mouth, and some words could not be said clearly.
The men who were tied up could not even struggle as they looked at each other, forgetting to even beg for mercy.
"When Catherine was born, it was the happiest moment of my life. My most beloved woman gave me the most beloved baby, and I am the most blessed man in this world."
On the page of the photo album, Lang kissed his wife's face while she held the baby.
The whole family was incredibly happy.
"Catherine was really cute at that time; the first word she said was to call me daddy, and she liked being carried by me. " said Lang, as blood dripped from the corners of his mouth and dripped onto the photo, " a man's family should be the best life for two of my most beloved people; I thought I wanted to take them around the world; I thought, I wanted, and I wanted to cultivate the greatest of all the flower field for my wife; and I also thought, that such a happy day could last one night, until death."
"I'm here; don't go too far. Wait for me."
Lang clenched his vibrator tightly; his thumb was about to press down; the few people who were tied up all closed their eyes in despair, waiting for the moment to explode.
"Father."
A tender voice sounded.
Lang turned his head around in shock. He saw that Catherine, who should have already left with Cullen family, was standing at the door, staring at him. He looked at her in panic, "Catherine, why are you here? Why haven't you left yet? "
Catherine stood there, staring fixedly at the blood on his mouth, raising her leg and walked over, then extended her hand to wipe it.
"Follow Cullen family." Lang pushed her. "Daddy will give it to you."
He tried to stand up, but he couldn't. He knew that if he didn't press the button now, it would be too late.
"Dad, are you going to see Mom?"
Catherine looked at him and asked, her voice sweet and serious.
"I heard everything. Don't lie to me." Catherine stood there and suddenly laughed, blinking her childish eyes, "I gave the doll to Holly, I know you are going to look for mom, and I want to see mom too."
Lang looked at her in shock. He reached out his hand to push her away, "What nonsense are you talking about. If you don't leave now, I'll hit you!"
This was the last of Lang's strength. Catherine was pushed until he staggered and fell onto the ground. She turned her gaze to look at him, and a trace of heartache flashed past Lang's eyes. "Hurry and go!"
"Dad, don't leave me behind."
Catherine stood up from the ground and looked at him silently.
'Tm not a good father. I'll beat you up if you stay. Let's go." Lang wanted Catherine to leave as far away as possible; he really didn't have much time left.
Catherine looked at him, then shook his head hard and squatted down beside him, "No, father is not leaving, and I'm not leaving either.
Lang leaned against the wall, letting the blood flow freely from his mouth as he said, "Catherine, please go; go!"
His voice was too slurred to hear clearly.
Catherine still shook her head, and stared at him, "Father, I want to see mother, really."
