"No," I said

"What do you know Jonathan?" he asked frustrated.

"I know that their mother told them to run. Is that enough for you dad, they are probably scared out of their minds right now. I am sorry I didn't interrogate them,"

"I am sorry John I have a lot on my mind and this doesn't help," he said

"Their names are Alex and Ally," I told him.

He looked up and called a few numbers before he turned to me.

"There was an attack on a pack west of us. The men were taken or killed and the women," he paused and his fist clenched under his desk, "some were taken, others were taken advantage of, and some are there now with children."

The Rouges had to be behind it. Only they could do something like this. Even in war packs don't get that rough.

"Jonathan, you, your mother, Morgan, and I will go there tonight to help them. Ash, Anthony, and Mark can take care of things here. Miss. May and Ruby will make room for the women and children." He told me.

"Dad, this isn't the first attack is?" I asked

He looked at me with weary eyes and said, "No,"

I nodded, "Jonathan, I don't want you to have to deal with this when you become Alpha. I want you to become Alpha without problems already waiting for you to solve," he told me.

"What do you think he wants?" I asked

My dad turned around facing the woods, "I don't know, but what I do know is that it isn't land that he wants," he said.

"What do you need?" I asked

"If he wanted land he would have driven out the pack after he had attacked," he said.

"Well, what if he just wants to send a message that he is powerful enough to destroy a whole pack," I said

"No, because every attack he leaves some of the women and children alive. Tim has been looking into it more than I have but I don't think he wants land as much as something else," he said thinking, "Well, you should go tell Morgan and your mother what is happening,"

I nodded and left the room. I could hear laughter coming from the living room. I walked down the hallway to see Morgan twirling around the room with Ally. She looked so beautiful. I couldn't wait for us to have children of our own; she will make a great mother. My mother was sitting on the couch with Alex on her lap laughing and clapping. My mother had a big smile on her face, she like most people loved children. Whether they were hers or not she loved them.

"Now, I know you may not want to talk about it, but I need you to tell me what happened?" I told them.

Their little faces fell and I wanted to punch myself.

"John, what are you talking about?" My mother asked.

I sighed, "The pack west of us was attacked by the Rouges. Weren't you?" I asked.

Ally's eyes filled with tears and Alex looked down at his lap.

"They killed my mommy and daddy," Ally said with her lip quivering and tears falling out of her eyes.

Morgan placed her in her lap and let her cry into her.

Alex spoke next, "They had red eyes and everyone was screaming. My mommy told us to run but we wanted to stay," He looked up at me with tears in his eyes.

I couldn't believe Charlie dropped this low, to attack a pack and kill them. I got up and left the room. I could here anymore of it. I kicked the wall in frustration making a hole in the wall. Well, mom isn't going to like that. I felt a hand on my back and I didn't need to turn around to know it was Morgan.
