"It may be cheesy but it is true," He said giving me a peck on my mark.

He lay next to me relaxing his body and letting me curl up into his little nook. I ran my hand over his stomach, drawing different shapes with my figure. After awhile, John's breathing became low and even telling me that he had fallen asleep. I don't know when I fell asleep but I wish I hadn't because when I closed my eyes I dreamt something that I would never forget.

~*~ Morgan's Dream~*~

"Mommy faster! Go faster!" I screamed.

I was eight and I was riding on my mom's back. My mother sped up fast and I giggled with happiness. My hair whipped around in the wind and I gripped my mother's fur tighter. She had a beautiful light brown coat with blonde highlights. Her eyes were a gray blue color, but in her human form she had hazel eyes and dark brown hair that end just below her shoulders. She began to slow down and stopped in the middle of the clearing. She bent down so that I could slide off. When my feet hit the ground I ran around the clearing doing cartwheels and spinning around until I was ready to fall. My mom stood in the middle of the clearing laughing and smiling at me.

"Your head is going to fall off because of all that spinning," She told me holding her arm out for me.

I laughed and ran into her arms. I wrapped my arms and legs around my mom. She squeezed me tight and kissed my head. I tucked my head into her neck inhaling her scent. She smelled of vanilla and sugar.

"I love you mommy," I told her.

She pulled away so she could get a good look at me. Now, in this dream I noticed something I didn't that day. When my mother looked into my eyes the smile she had on her face didn't seem to fill her eyes all the way. They held happiness but hidden behind that was fear.

"I love you too, baby girl," She said giving me a kiss on the forehead.

"Now," she said placing me down on the ground, "what do you want to do?" She asked.

I looked around the clearing and smiled.

"I want to pick flowers!" I said pulling her over to a patch of purple wild flowers.

She laughed and helped me pick out floral arrangements. We make a crown for each of us. Mine was purple and pink with hints of yellow and my mom's was blue and yellow with hints of white.

"What are you doing here? She isn't here, Sarah isn't coming back!" My mother nearly whispered.

My mother shifted into her wolf form and stood in front of me protectively. His eyes were like poison that kills. There was no innocence in them not even an ounce of kindness was hidden in them. He circled around me and my mother with a hungry look on his face.

For some reason I found some bravery in me and yell, "Go away! We didn't do anything!"

I mother turned her heard to me while keeping an eye on the wolf and scowled. The wolf let out a husky laugh and my mother growled at him. It looked like they were talking and whatever they were talking about upset him and he lured at my mother.

"Mom!" I screamed but it was too late she had already jump at him, meeting him half way.

They rolled on the ground snapping their jaws at each other and growling. Tears streamed down my face watching my mother whimper in pain. At one point I thought she was winning but then she let out a howl. Our eyes met and hers were filled with pain. She barked and I took that as her telling me to run but I couldn't leave her. She kept on barking but the wolf dug his teeth into her neck, and threw her as if she was a rag doll. I screamed and ran to my mother's limp body. Her beautiful fur was stained and in some places had patches of skin were missing.
