No matter how scared or mad I was I had to laugh. This isn't the first time Ash has made fun of my facial expressions before.

"You are so weird." I said shaking my head at her like I disapprove.

We both laughed.

When our laughed died Ash broke the silence.

"He knew you were in trouble. He's the one that found you."

"The bond is growing, Morgan."

"I know it is."

"Then why don't you just tell him?"

"I am"

"When?"

"In three days."

"On the full moon, are you insane?" She asked in disbelieve

~*~Flashback~*~

God, why can't I sleep? Something doesn't feel right.

"Trouble" my wolf growled

I got out of and walked to my father's office.

I didn't bother knocking. He would know it was me. I mean who walks into an Alpha's office at 3:00 in the morning?

I walked in to find him sitting behind his desk looking out the window that over looked the forest outside.

"What is troubling you son?" my father asked turning around to face me.

"How did you know something is troubling me?"

"Son, I am your father and it is 3:00 in the morning." He said a smile forming on his face.

I smiled, "Yeah"

"So what is it that is bothering you?"

"I don't know," I said shaking my head, "I have this feeling like something is wrong."

He didn't answer me, he only nodded his head. Usually when my father doesn't answer that isn't good.

"I have been having that feeling too. I just can put my finger on what it is." He said turning back to face the window.

Every rarely do I see my father get frustrated over something and I could see that he was not enjoying it. He always has to be in control. That is why he is Alpha.

"Dad, do you think it is our wolves playing tricks on us?"

"No this 'feeling' is too strong for our wolves to just be messing with us. They know something is wrong and they can sense it."

I thought about what my father said 'they can sense it.'

"I am going to walk the halls maybe this room is making it worse."

"If you don't what?"

"If I don't get a mate, will I-"

"We have disgusted this before. When your mate feels it is time to tell you, she will."

"And if she doesn't? What if she died or doesn't even know who I am? What if I don't even have one?"

"You do and that is final."

God, why does he always react like this when I ask him about me not having a mate?

"You sound as though you have met her already. That you are absolutely sure that I have one."

When I said this my father tensed but quickly covered it up. I knew it. He as met her but why is he hiding it from me? He knows I have been waiting for her. Why is he hiding this from me? We continued down my sister's hallway, of course dad wanted to check on his little girl. She has been having a rough time these past few months her mate Antony has been away learning how to fight.

What she doesn't know is that dad and I arranged for him to come home by next week instead of four weeks from now. He will be here just in time for her birthday. When we told him this he started taking eight hour classes instead of six. I am glad she has him instead of one of the knuckleheads we have around here.

When my father came back from Ash's room we continued to meander down the hallway.

"Wait." My father whispered

"What is it?" I asked

"Keep your voice down. Do you hear that?"

"Hear what?"

He didn't answer me. He made his way over to the door that belonged to Morgan Davidson, Ash's best friend. She is a nice girl. It is sad that she had to lose her mom at such a young age. She has always been the one to take care of everything and everyone. When her mother died she was the one who had to put the funeral arrangements together and take care of her heart broken father. Then when her father was diagnosed with cancer Morgan was the one to take care of him. I hope that when she decides to tell her mate that for once someone else will take care of her.
