Night Rider MC novel Chapter 17

I had enough. It is time that Star come to the club house for a week. She needs to talk to her mother and brothers. I know that what Brandy did was not right but we did look for her when she disappeared.

Before moving her they cared for each other. I watched them enough to know that. Her brothers teased and protected her. They would help her, watch over her.

I got on my bike and drove to her apartment. I knocked on her door. When she opened it I looked at her.

"I have had enough Star."

"Go and back some clothes Star. You are getting out of this house and coming to the clubhouse for one week."

"No, I am not going and you can't make me."

I looked over her shoulders and said. "But, I can stop Ripper from coming here."

I looked up at Gunner in anger.

"You son of a bitch, you will take Ripper from me?"

"Yes, I would."

"Get the fuck out of my apartment."

"Ripper let's go"

"You are going on a run. You will be going to stay at the sister club for a month."

I looked over at Ripper expecting him to tell Gunner he would not go. I was wrong. But, I saw the anger on his face. I watched as he walked pass me and out the door with Gunner following.

I was shocked. Ripper said he loved me. If he did he would not leave me like this. I slammed the door shut and locked it. I ran upstairs and crawled under the bed.

I lay there crying. I am alone. He left me now I have no one to protect me. I cried myself to sleep. The nightmares came back. I got off my bike, I walked into the club slamming the door shut.

I turned and looked at Gunner.

"You may be my president, but what you just did is even low for you."

"You forced me to leave Star."

"All the progress we made just went down hell. The minute you forced me to walk out that door."

"Ripper, Star will be fine. She is a big girl."

"Go to hell Gunner."

"You can forbid me to go back to Star's, but you can't make me talk to you, make me sit at the same table as you, or even respect you anymore."

I walked to the bar grabbed a beer and sat down. I saw the looks the members gave me and Gunner. I parked my bike and noticed that Rippers bike was not here. What is going on?

I knocked on the door, rang the doorbell, and yelled for Star to open the door. I dialed her phone and it went to voice mail. Where is Star? I dialed Rippers phone.

"Hello,"

"Ripper where are you?"

"The clubhouse."

"Where is Star?"

"Her apartment."

I told Grace what Gunner had done.

"She is not answering the door or her phone. I will let myself in and look for her. I will call you back."

I unlocked the door and called for Star. Nothing. I looked everywhere for her. Star are you up here? I heard crying. I opened her bedroom door.

Star it's Grace. Nothing but crying. I walked over to the bed and knelled down. Star, it's me Grace. I was shocked as I watched her scoot further under the bed. All the way against the wall.

I was pissed. We are back to day one all because of Gunner. I took my phone out and video taped Star. I leaned it against the floor of the bedside table facing Star. I crawled under the bed and reached for her.

Star started screaming and screaming. "Please don't touch me."

"Please don't do it again."

I realized my hair was in my face. "Star, its Grace."
