Noelle found the whole twist of events utterly amusing. She said with a mocking glint in her eyes, "You're just making excuses because you're not good enough. Maybe you should go back and practice!"

"Noelle, you definitely cheated! I've never even seen you play games at school, and you don't even have a computer! How could you possibly be that good?

Jessica's confidence surged as if she'd found a crack in the armor. "Since you used cheats, the previous match doesn't count!"

Samuel immediately picked up on this. "Right! It doesn't count! Let's rematch!"

How could someone like Noelle, a newcomer, possibly defeat him? There must have been something wrong.

Noelle sneered. "No need for all this trouble. Whether I used cheats or not, the assessment for the team will prove everything."

"Noelle, you used cheats and still want to participate in the assessment?"

"But do you have any proof? I don't have time to waste with you." Noelle's voice was flat, and her gaze was dismissive.

Samuel shot back coldly, "Fine, we'll wait for the weekend's assessment. If you lose, you'll kneel and apologize publicly!"

"And if you lose, you'll do the same, too!" Noelle's lazy lift of her eyelids oozed arrogance.

Samuel agreed without hesitation. "Fine, but don't regret it!"

By then, even if Noelle had decent skill, there was no way she could beat an entire team. He was already looking forward to watching her lose and kneel in apology.

Noelle turned and left the team base. She wouldn't have stayed in this chaotic team if it weren't for the national team tryouts.

"Wait, Noelle!"

She turned around to see two girls running after her. "What's up?"

"Thank you for speaking up for us earlier. We all support you!"

Noelle guessed that Samuel was probably not a first-time offender and had likely treated other girls the same way before. She smiled. "It was nothing."

If she ran into someone like him, she definitely wouldn't let them off easily. With someone like Samuel as the captain, who knew how many other girls he had harmed?
