"I can't hold it back anymore. I want to confess my love for you. Be my girlfriend, Noelle."

After he spoke, everyone began making a fuss.

"Say yes, say yes!"

Noelle found this hilarious.

"Noelle, you're gorgeous when you smile . I'll make you happy for the rest of our lives."

She glanced at the bouquet and took it from him. Samuel was ecstatic. "Let's have dinner together. I reserved seats at a classy restaurant."

Samuel knew that freshmen were easy targets. They would be moved as long as he made a scene when confessing.

Novelle slapped him with the bouquet. The flowers fell out of their arrangement and were strewn all over the floor. The thorns of a rose even drew a bloody streak across his face.

Novelle glared at him and said, "Did you look in the mirror before you left the house today? You're hideous. How dare you confess to someone looking like this?"

Samuel paled, but he recovered himself. "Noelle, I'm being genuine with you. I know we've had our share of disagreements but I said all that to draw your attention. I'll accept anything you want to do with me."

Noelle couldn't help but dry heave. "Stop talking or I'll throw my breakfast up."

The corners of his lips twitched. "Noelle, I'll show you how genuine I am!"

The people around them crooned.

"Noelle, Samuel is a local. He comes from a wealthy family. "

"If you marry him, you'd be able to stay here."

"Samuel's got high standards. You're lucky to have piqued his fancy."

Upon hearing this, Samuel felt much more confident. Usually, he viewed people like Noelle with disdain because they came from a village.

If not for her excellent gaming skills, Samuel wouldn't have pursued her.

He lowered his voice and continued, "You pissed the Merlocks off as well. If you get with me, I'll help you beg for their mercy."
