Noelle suddenly remembered that she had been to L Bistro before. They were there at Alfred's invitation.

Cedric seemed a little uneasy, which was rare. He maintained a stern expression and replied, "Mm, it's the place we went to before."

It had been Alfred's treat.

Noelle nodded. "I thought it sounded familiar."

Xenia covered her mouth and laughed mockingly. "Alright, stop pretending. The place you went to was just a knockoff of L Bistro, not the real deal.

"With your position as a school doctor, you probably can't even afford a meal there."

When Xenia saw Noelle with a man earlier, she couldn't resist coming in, and sure enough, she was with that poor school doctor. At least she hadn't gotten involved with Justin so Xenia could relax.

Noelle's expression turned cold. "It's just a meal. Is it really worth bragging about? Are you that hungry?"

Xenia smirked. "Why so upset, Noelle? I just want your school doctor's boyfriend to treat you better. Don't come to places like this dump for meals.

"At least go to a nice Western restaurant and have some good food."

Xenia felt a sense of victory, finally finding a way to one-up Noelle. At least her boyfriend was rich, and Noelle's boyfriend was just a poor school doctor.

"Xenia, with your pig brain, how can you even taste anything?"

Noelle finished speaking and grabbed Cedric's wrist. "Let's go." She didn't want to stick around and listen to Xenia's nonsense.

Cedric lowered his gaze, glancing at her briefly, and quietly followed Noelle out of the restaurant.

Xenia, who was still reluctant to let go, followed them. "Noelle, running away from home must not be easy. If you need money, just let me know."

Noelle turned back. "You should focus on your own business and tend to that foolish boyfriend of yours. After all, his mother isn't someone you should mess with."
