Cedric seemed to be extremely mysterious. After Noelle asked Alfred about it, he remained silent.

Noelle tested the waters by asking, "Is it a question that's off limits?"

Was Cedric's identity kept secret?

"Not exactly. You should ask him about it. I've got a meeting to attend to. I'll be going now."

After hanging up, Alfred felt his nervousness rise up significantly. Noelle wasn't one to be deluded.

He hurriedly called Cedric to warn him so that he wouldn't expose himself in the future. It was all Alfred could do as his best friend.

He even shouldered the blame for being a sugar daddy for a college-aged girl. Alfred couldn't do much else.

Noelle considered what he had said. Did that mean Cedric's job wasn't one to be proud of? How mysterious.

Noelle put down the phone in a better mood.

However, she could no longer fall asleep after getting disturbed. Noelle turned her computer on to examine the bugs in her artificial intelligence program.

A message about the black market popped up on her phone.

She logged in and received a text from the manager. "Someone wanted to buy the code for the firewall program you made. They even suggested paying two million for you to write a code for their company to prevent their company from being hacked into."

It was a simple task.

Noelle replied, "Sure. But I want five million for it."

After she sent the message, the manager only replied after a while. "They said yes, but they want you to go to their company to adjust it in person and prove that it works. Only then will they pay the last sum. They'll also give you a million a year for maintenance."
