Noelle had just turned her laptop off when she heard knocking at her door.

She went to the door and asked, "Who's that?"

"I'm delivering food."

Noelle opened the door. "I hadn't ordered anything."

"I haven't got the wrong address. Your name is Noelle, right?"

"Yeah, that's me."

After confirming her name, he handed her the food and left.

She found this a little weird. There were only three people who knew she lived there. Cedric, Alfred, and Grace.

Noelle received a text from Cedric saying, "Remember to eat."

She glanced at the food. He was the one who ordered it for her.

After sitting down, she replied, "Who asked you to order food for me? I can order it myself."

"Aren't I trying to make you feel better?"

Noelle smiled when she saw his text. However, she forced her upturned lips back to their original position.

She did not have much of an appetite just now, but now she was hungry, not to mention how the food was to her liking.

After finishing her meal, she glanced at their chat but didn't reply.

The next day, Noelle woke up without an alarm. At night, she had to attend an esports gala.

She took her phone and replied to Grace's message. She was waiting for her to come back to the place and change before heading out together.

A message popped up which said, "Open the door. Lunch is here."

Her mood improved greatly. She texted Cedric, "Thanks, man."

"You're not angry anymore?"

"I was never angry in the first place."
