Frank also happened to be curious about Noelle and Cedric’s relationship. So, he turned to Xenia and told her, “Wait for me outside.”

“But Frank–”

“Do as I say!”

Xenia had no choice but to leave.

Frank studied Cedric. It was now clear that Cedric was no ordinary man.

“Where’s Noelle?” asked Frank.

“I don’t need to answer you,” Cedric replied coldly. “But she’s under my protection now, so I don’t want you guys doing anything to hurt her again before her exams.”

“Hurt her? I wouldn’t hurt my sister! The real question is, what is a doctor like you trying to gain from her?”

Frank’s suspicions about Cedric were only deepening.

Cedric’s stare was piercing as he curtly said, “That’s none of your concern.”

“Of course it is. She’s my sister.”

Frank recalled how Cedric had called the police the last time, forcing Lucas to move out and

keep a distance from Noelle.

With his hands in his pockets, Cedric’s eyes had an arrogant glint as he said, “You should be worrying about your fake sister instead. And stop pretending to care about Noelle.”

Just then, the elevator doors opened, and a middle–aged man stepped out.

Frank immediately told the man, “Mr. Wilcher, there’s an unknown guest here.” He was trying to use the restaurant manager to uncover Cedric’s identity.

The manager nodded respectfully at Cedric before turning to Frank. “Mr. Liddell, I’m afraid to inform you that we’re clearing out our vicinity and would need you to leave as well.”

Frank glanced at Cedric. “What about him?”
