Noelle's tone turned cold. "Do you think there's anything I wouldn't dare to do?"

"You've really ruined us all, Noelle! You're a jinx of our family! You've even ruined Donovan's whole plan! How are we supposed to find the murderer and avenge our parents now?" Blake asked.

Noelle had no idea Donovan had some sort of plan in motion. "What do you mean?"

When she struck a deal with Donovan that day, he had never mentioned such a plan before.

Blake continued lashing out at her hysterically. "So you only bother to ask about it now? It's too late! You're the one that caused our parents to die! And now you're also the one obstructing Donovan's plan to avenge them. If you're not a jinx, then what are you?"

Just then, Donovan walked into the hospital room and snatched away Blake's phone. "Listen, Noelle, aside from Frank, I arranged every one of your older brother's careers on purpose.

"It was all so that when we finally found a lead, we could capture the murderer and make them pay for what they've done to our parents."

Noelle sneered and replied, "Are you seriously trying to use our parents on me again?"

"I'm not lying to you this time," Donovan replied.
