Noelle's mind went blank when she saw the photo. She zoomed in on the image with trembling fingers. Even though it was only a side profile, she would never mistake it.

It was Xenia's father—her parents' driver. But hadn't he died with them in the accident? Why was he still alive?

"...Nothing." She quickly adjusted herself. "What did he and Xenia talk about?"

"Their meeting lasted only a few minutes. They separated in a hurry and were extremely cautious. We might've overheard their conversation if we hadn't been worried about getting caught." Tilly sighed.

Noelle ordered, "Keep an eye on Xenia. And be careful not to get noticed. Also, investigate this man and see what you can find."

After Tilly left, Noelle stared at the photo over and over again.

Why was the driver still alive? Noelle was sure now. Her parents' death wasn't an accident. There was something more to it.

But no matter how hard she tried, she couldn't recall what exactly had happened that day. Maybe she could piece together the truth if she remembered. Noelle pulled the blanket over her head, her body trembling from the realization.
