"I don't want to make a bad impression, we have to go," Ryan told me.

"Fine." I took a quick shower getting rid of the smell of food and dressed in a grey Mickey Mouse short sleeve shirt and a pair of black jeans, with a pair of converse. Since we were late enough I didn't have time to do anything to my hair or face, so I was left with a make-up-less face and my usual curls.

"Finally." Liz hugged me with a glass full of wine in her hand. It was after ten and I was sure that she had been waiting for us for a while now. "Ryan nice to see you again."

He smiled and handed her a bottle of white wine that he brought. "Mom always said never come some place empty handed."

"Sounds like a wise woman." She took the bottle of wine and led us to the dining room. "The kids are already in bed so it will be just us."

"Great." I took off my leather jacket and hung it up in the closet. "What for dinner?"

"Meatloaf, corn, and mash potatoes." It was already in dishes and placed on the table. We all sat down, Ryan and I next to each other and Liz across from the both of us.

"Smells delicious." We all made our plates and ate in silence. When we were done, we moved into the living room along with a glass of wine and soft music playing in the background.

"So Ryan what are your intentions with my niece?" She said getting right down to the point. I could tell that she knew this relationship was different because with the other guys she had never done an integration, she simply only cared about whether or not they were attractive or not.

Without hesitation, he said, "As cliché as it sounds my intentions are to make her as happy as she made me in this short amount of time. Alex is always so busy taking care of everyone that she doesn't do the same for herself. I want to take care of Alex."

"What about the money for the house?" She eyed him suspiciously.

"What about it?" He shrugged.

"Like is she gonna have to pay it back? Are you her landlord now?" She turned to look at me and waited for me to respond.

Ryan cut me off before I could respond. "The money doesn't really matter to me. She doesn't have to pay it back."

"Good answer, but that doesn't mean that I'm not watching you."

He chuckled. "I'll take that."

I could tell that everything that he was saying was true about his feelings for me and I couldn't be happier, but at the same time, I didn't like that he thought that I shouldn't pay him back. Despite us being mates I didn't like the fact that there was something that he could hold over my head.

We stayed there for about an hour more before heading back home, which was about an hour ride. As soon as we arrived I went straight up to our room and changed into my night clothes that consisted of thin shorts and one of Ryan t-shirts while Ryan quickly went to go check on the pack.

"I don't know I would just feel bad."

Growing up, my father always instilled in me to be independent and to work hard for everything. It just wouldn't feel right for him to be paying off my debt without me paying him back any of the money.

"I not trying to act as if this is the old times but most traditional Luna's don't even have jobs."

"Ryan I can't just owe you money and not pay it back."

He rubbed his chin for a while. "How about you pay with back with kisses and hugs."

"Ryan!" I rolled my eyes.

"Okay, how about instead of you paying me back you take over The Red Café?" He compromised.

"Doesn't Willie run The Red Café?" I asked.

"No, he's in charge of the pack funds. I pretty much run the restaurant."
