"Are you sure? What will you do?"
He laughed. "Well, I do have a pack to run. With the restaurant and you, I been handing a lot of the responsibility to Tyler. His mate is pregnant now and I'm sure he would rather spend more time with her.
I shrugged, "Okay, sounds good. When do I start?"
"How about next week? That will give you a chance to hire more staff since you won't be spending as much time at Mel's Diner."
"Okay."

"I have to go to work."
It had been a few days since dinner at Liz's house and things had been going well. Ryan and I had grown closer, spending almost all day together and even missing work the last two days to lay around the house and enjoy each other's company. His parents and Lily had also continued to stay at the pack house, giving us time to get to know each other better.
Unfortunately, our alone time must come to an end, Melissa has been sending me very threating texts since I decide to take this mini vacation, and I can no longer abandon them or my restaurant any longer.
"Do you have to?" Ryan whined as he pulled me by my waist and pressed me against his chest.
"Yes, Melissa says she gonna quit if I don't come back, and I can't have that. I gonna need her when I start working at The Red Café."
"Okay fine." With a kissed he let go of me and I went to go get ready. When I was showered and dressed in jeans and another one of Ryan oversized t-shirts I headed downstairs. "Morning Linda."
"Morning sweetheart. Breakfast?"
"Yes, please." It was so weird having someone cook all your meals and clean up after you, but I can't lie I really enjoyed Linda's cooking and I hardly have any time to do chorus when I working full time. She places a stack of pancakes on my plate with butter and lots of syrup.
I quickly ate my food before placing my plate in the dishwasher. "Morning Linda." Ryan kissed Linda's cheek.
"Morning." He sat down next to me and she placed twice the amount of pancakes I had onto Ryan's plate.
"Thank you."
"Nice to meet you too, Luna." She smiled and ran back over to the other kids to tell them about it. I could over hear her telling them that she and the Luna were best friends. I couldn't help but laugh.
"It's a big deal to meet the Luna. Especially for the young girls, they look up to you." Ryan whispered into my ear.
"I see." He took a hold of my hand and pulled me towards the pack-house. Once I was there I met many of the younger children and the teenagers. I had stayed there for about twenty minutes when I decided that I should head to work, I said goodbye to all the kids and looked around for Ryan.
"Alpha went to the backyard." Kasey who insisted on staying by my side said.
"Okay, thanks." I gave her a hug and headed in the direction that she pointed out. After about ten minutes I still hadn't found the backyard or even a door to exit out of. I tried to retrace my steps back to where I came from.
"You lost?" I turned around to see a tall muscular figure in the shadows. Normally I would find this weird but Ryan had assured me that I was completely safe with anyone from the pack because they would protect me with their life.
"Yes? Can you lead me to the front door?"
"Sure, Luna. This way." Not yet seeing his face yet I followed behind him, he led us down a long corridor before taking varies lefts and or rights. Finally, we had reached the door that Ryan and I had come in from.
