Her face cutely scrunched up. "I thought you said the rogues weren't a big deal."

"They weren't at first. My cousin Ellie is mated to the Alpha of The New Elite pack, they attacked his pack and they almost kidnapped her." I paused, thinking of whether or not I should go on. I wanted her to be aware of everything going on in the pack but at the same time, I didn't want to scare her. "I'm gonna be honest, there is a possibility of there being a major war between the different packs and the rogues."

"What? Why are you just now telling me this?"

"I didn't want you to be worried or scared."

"I'm your mate, you're not supposed to hide things from me."

"You're right and I'm sorry. For now on I will tell you everything that goes on in the pack." I wrapped my arms around her waist and kissed my mark. I knew it was her weak spot and would lead her to forgive me.

"When are we leaving?"

"Six days."

She fought back her smile. "You're still an idiot."

"Mrs. Anderson a client is here to see you?" my assistant Oliva, said over the intercom.

"Who is it?"

"Mr. Matos," I smiled knowing that I had managed to snag such an important client. James Matos was a partner at a very wealthy investment company and selling him a house would surely come with a nice commission and maybe even a bonus from my company.

"Bring him up," I told her before pulling some of my best listing from my desk.

Before Olivia had brought him up to my office I had managed to straighten up a bit and turned on my air condition so that my office would be cooler for him when he came in. "Mr. Matos is here to see you." She repeated and moved so that he could enter my office.

The picture that I saw online, didn't do him justice. He stood 6-foot-tall and built like an NBA basketball player. He had short dark brown hair and tan skin and was sporting a short beard. When he noticed my staring he winked at me. I felt myself blush at the fact that I was openly checking him out. I was a married woman for God's sake.

I walked over to greet him. "Nice to meet you, Mr. Matos."

I felt my hand tingle as I placed my hand in his. "Likewise. Call me James." He smiled, still holding on to my hand.

"I am looking for a house. About four bedrooms, 5000-10,000 square feet."

"Are you married? Or having any kids."

This was a common question to ask a client. Knowing whether or not they had kids would help determine the type of neighborhood or area that would be good for them.

"No ma'am but I do hope to be one day, hopefully in the near future." He said staring at me.

"How sweet?" I replied uninterested and wrote down that information. "Okay." I placed the listing in front of him. "Here's a few options. If you have any free time I can arrange for you to see them in person."

"Sound good."

"I don't think this is the one." I rolled my eyes.

This had been the fourth house that we had come to see and still not one that he liked. I didn't have a problem with him not liking the house it was the fact that he never told me why he didn't like them. If he would actually communicate with me why he didn't like them, then it would make it so much easier for me to find the right home for him. Not to mention that because of all the work I was doing to find him the perfect home I missing out on time to spend with Alex.
