"Nice to see you again, Alex," Natalie said breaking the awkward silence. She stood up and hugged me.
I had met her a few days back. She had recently joined The New Elite pack after she found her mate who was the Beta of The New Elite Pack. She was a very tall model like dark haired girl. Her hair was straightened and she wore a black bohemian style chiffon dress with golden sandals.
Ryan was very keen on me keeping my distance from her. Apparently she had previously been a member of the Moonlight Pack. According to Ryan, they were the reason why the pack had been attacked and why members of the pack had died. I completely understood what Ryan was trying to get me to understand but the girl was so sweet, it was impossible for me to be mean to her for no reason.
Unfortunately, I was the only person to feel this way. Both Ryan and Ellie acted as if she wasn't there. And when it was impossible to not ignore her Ellie would just bluntly be rude to the poor girl. Not to mention Ellie wasn't too keen on being Luna. Yes, she loved her mate but she definitely neglected many of her duties and therefore Natalie was usually picking up her slack.
"You too. You look lovely." I complimented her.
She smiled back at me. "Thanks, so do you."
"Elizabeth, Luna of the White Wolves." Despite wolves not aging like normal humans you could tell that she was a lot older than the rest of us. She was very tall and had dark brown wavy hair that stops at her shoulders and big brown eyes. She wore a long sleeved red silk shirt that was tucked into a black knee length pencil skirt. She paired the outfit with a pair of black six-inch heels.
"Nice to meet you." I air-kissed both sides of her cheek.
Next to her was a tall and slim redhead, who had light hazel eyes. Her presence gave me the feeling that she was a tough chick and not someone who bad side you wanted to get on. She wore a tight all white dress paired with of red heels while her hair was pulled in a tight bun on top of her head. "The names Kira, Gamma of the Nightfall back." She held out her hand for me to shake.
I shook her hand. "It's a pleasure."
"They may seem nice but don't be fooled. Those Moonlight people are dangerous." I thought back to what Ryan and said earlier.
When she noticed my changed in behavior she added, "I'm also completely human so I completely get the craziness that you've been going through."
I laughed, "Thank God, I thought I'll be the only one." I internally wiped the sweat from my forehead. It was intimidating to know that these girls were twice as fast and had all these special powers that we didn't. Knowing that Judi was human in a way comforted me.
She also laughed. "This is my Luna, Hailee." She pointed to the brunette that stood slightly behind her. She wore black high waisted shorts with a floral crop top and dark blue sandals with little hints of silver on it.
