"Avery, what's the matter? Is it the baby?" I looked her up and down looking for any injuries.

"No." She took a deep breath. "Ryan h-he's in a coma."

Within a couple of hours, we had made it to The Moon Light Pack, because they were closer to Mason's territory and Ryan was severely injured they had no other choice but to transport Ryan to their pack hospital. I had no idea on how to react to this. Ellie and Lily both thought that this was some sneaky way for Mason to take Ryan out. It was quite hard for me to believe this knowing that he was the one that saved Ryan's life. If he wanted him to die he would have let the rogues kill him.

"I'm very sorry for everything that been happening." Hailee greeted me with a hug along with Lily. She ignored Ellie and gestured for us to follow her. She and Ellie were still on bad terms from the argument that happened a little while ago. Hearing what happen from Ellie I know things did get quite ugly but Ryan was in a coma and there were much more important things going on than some stupid argument.

"Thank you." She sent me an empathetic smile before taking us to the pack hospital. Accompanying us was a few guards from the pack along with Noah and a few of his wolves from his pack.

"Dr. Leah this is Alex, Ryan's mate." Hailee introduced me to the lady who was currently yelling out orders.

"Nice to meet you, Alex." She held out her hand for me to shake.

"Can I see him?" I held in the tears that were fighting to come out.

Looking behind at the others that were trailing behind me she frowned. "Unfortunately only one person in the room at this time, there's a waiting room down the hall."

"I can show you guys to it." Hailee offered and reluctantly they headed to the waiting room.

Turning back to Dr. Leah I waited for her to show me to Ryan's room. "Follow me." Walking down the hallway I noticed a few stares from people in The Moon Light pack but no one dared to say anything, not that I was worried. Ellie and Tyler had both assured me that I was fine and if anything was to happen that they would be there in seconds. Ryan was in the farthest room on the right. Walking in the first thing I noticed was the strong scent of blood that filled the room.

"Oh, Ryan." I ran over to the hospital bed where his face was covered in scratches and dried up blood. His once tan skin was so pale that he looks more like a ghost than a human. Taking a hold of his hand I noticed that his body was extremely cold, without thinking I took both of his hands in mine in hope that it would warm him up a bit.

"There were multiple injuries to the abdomen, no major arteries were hit but he did lose a lot of blood." She told me apologetically.

"Knock, knock." The door opened revealing Hailee carrying a tray of food. "You miss lunch so I thought I'll bring you up something."

"Thanks." I salivated looking down at the cheeseburger and curly fries.

She placed the tray on top of my legs. "Welcome. Can I get you anything else?"

"No, I really appreciate you and all your pack for being so generous," I replied honestly. She had been personally doing everything she could to make sure me and the others were comfortable at all times. I couldn't at all understand Ryan's and Ellie's hatred for her and her pack.

"It seems as if the whole issue with our packs was bogus, no need to keep up with the parade." It was true, Max had been the sole reason for all the rivalry between her pack and ours and now with that information revealed I hoped for us to move on and let bygones be bygones.

"Absolutely." When Ryan woke up I had every intention and forcing him to put his issues with The Moon Light Pack in the past. They had obviously proved that they weren't bad people by saving him from dying and allowing us to stay here for this long.
