OWNED BY THE ALPHA novel Chapter 11

I stared at the words on the clipboard for a very long time trying to decipher the words that I didn't feel my body shaking. I was completely oozing anger.

"What pack is that?". I ask in an eerily calm voice.

Daniel looked at me warily while Jacob wore an impassive look.

"UmAlpha I think you need to calm down a little bit. I don't mean that you shouldn't retaliate but not

right now". I turned to him slowly with rage on my face. He saw the look on my face and swallowed nervously then he tried to correct himself.

"I mean you'd like to see your mate first right? ".

My anger reduced drastically as the thought of my mate filled my head. The thought of seeing her face.

I nodded my head solemnly at Daniel and he lead me to my mate.

When I got to the door of the ICU I hesitated a little bit. Summoning the courage I didn't think I needed up until this moment, I opened the door.

I got inside and was taken aback breathtaking view.

God, she was beautiful.

Her hair was straight and light brown. And from what i remembered Her eyes were blue, bright and vibrant and her lips were bright pink and full. I don't think I've ever seen someone so pretty in my life before.

She's tiny, her body seems fragile yet so womanly. The freckles on her cheeks makes me want to kiss them , all one by one.

I went closer to the bed and my eyes started tearing up as I saw all the wires that was connected to her body.

I took her hands in mine and used my other hand to remove the hair on her face and tuck it behind her ear.

A tear dropped from my eyes onto the bedsheets.

"Wake up love. I would love to hear your voice and see those pretty blue eyes of yours. I would love to make you mine and deal with those people that hurt you.

I don't know if you can hear me but I need you to open your eyes for me".

I wiped my eyes when I heard the doors open and someone walked in.

I turned to see Jacob. I saw the pain and worry in his eyes when he looked at Kenzie.

It's been two weeks since my mate has been in coma. Daniel said it might take a day, a week or months for her to wake up. He said it was up to her to wake up.

Throughout the two weeks I've not left her side at all. Andrew had to bring my clothes for me. I took my bath here. The nurses brought food for me. I did paperwork's here. The thought of leaving her even for a little while did not sit well with me.

What if I left her and she woke up or she is in pain.

The ventilator was taken off yesterday. Most if her wounds has healed. I asked Daniel if I could take her to my house and he agreed.

Now we are in my room and I'm cleaning her hands and legs with a warm towel. The nurse comes here in the morning to bath her.

I finished cleaning her body and went to pour the water away. When I got into the bathroom I decided to take a shower altogether.

I came out of the shower with a towel around my waist and another round my neck.

I put on my pants and was about to put on a shirt when I heard ruffling in the bedroom. I quickly left the room and went to see what's going on. Getting to the door I froze at what I saw.

My mate was sitting up and was looking at me.

My mate is awake.
